The server, Nikki (?), was super kind and did a fantastic job despite the fact that she was working alone that night. The fish and chips were the best I've had. I'm upset my eyes were bigger than my stomach!

Check your chicken. Kids meal chicken nuggets were raw inside - I don't mean pre-cooked and cold inside, I mean RAW chicken.
Great beer selection.
Awesome bartender.

Loved bartender Lex. Keep her on. Amazing food and incredible service. A bit late on my review but can’t wait to go back. Get the steak and old fashioned. Ask for Lex!
This is a gem of a find. Wonderful high end food! The lettuce cups are the best I have ever had. (I order them at many restaurants, so this is saying a lot!). The bread pudding is to die for! Not to mention the cocktails!

We have ordered food to go many times during Covid, but decided to do a late afternoon meal today. For anyone who is ok with 3:00 dinners….wow! THE time to go! It was relaxing, we had great music at the perfect volume, and a great server, Nicki.
The French country beer was outstanding. Lemon chicken a true winner for me. My hubby loved the chicken Sandwich, this place is the best one in that center! Hands down. And taking advantage of that slow time makes it all the more pleasurable! There are even happy hour specials! Whereas we used to only go to pick up food, seeing this time of day here was a positive encentive for us to have a beer and enjoy food at the restaurant. Kudos to The Craftsman. You hit on all cylinders.

We took a chance to try somewhere new - and SO glad we did. Unassuming from the outside, speakeasy feeling on the inside. What really made an impression was the service. When I asked for an Arnold Palmer, the server replied that unfortunately they don’t have lemonade. Two minutes later he returned to say they were making fresh lemonade just for me! And they customized it with strawberry purée.
And when neither of us read the menu carefully, missing the cashews that my spouse can’t have, they took great care to fix our dishes.
The food was excellent. Try the lettuce wraps!
Dietary restrictions: Seed and nut allergies were well accommodated.

Monday June 3rd - lettuce wraps were inedible and the trout was really salmon and the alcohol they used made me ill. How this place has a high rating is illegal advertising! Never Again. Ever.

The menu items are not as they appear in the pics. While I only tried the birria tacos (which were good), drinks were not as good. There are only a few options, with very little variety.
Made reservation for our party of 3 which wasn't needed as there were several empty tables when we arrived around 5:30PM Stood at reception for a bit since that's normal restaurant protocol assuming we would need to be directed to table. Bartender saw us a good length of time before acknowledging us and said we could sit where we wanted. Grabbed our own napkins, etc, from reception and sat down. Bartender was leisurely making drinks for a few at the bar while stopping and conversing with folks at the bar. 6 people at bar. 9 people at 4 different tables, one (2 people) of which was done eating. Not a busy place. Yet, 5 to 10 minutes later, bartender - who is also waiter, brings water and menus, says he will be back. 20 minutes later - nothing. Table of 2 beside us (they we there when we sat down) got their drinks and ordered food. Table of 2 seated across from us got their food. Table of 3 down from us got their drink order taken but not made and delivered. 20 minutes it took to perform those 3 tasks - all the while stopping to chat it up in between in lively fashion with bar patrons. Can't comment on the food since we didn't have the time to stick around. One in our party has very early mornings and given the 30 minute timeframe it had taken not even to put a drink order in, we felt we didn't have time to wait for a 2 hour dinner at a strip mall joint with average ambience. Headed across the parking lot to Postino's where drinks were in front of us within 10 minutes, food orders taken and delivered within very reasonable amount of time. Too bad it had to be this way. The cocktail list at Craftsman and menu looked great and we were definitely ready to try it out.
Parking is terrible in this plaza! The restaurant was quiet and not busy during our time yet the wait staff was slow to take our orders. They were out of multiple items we wanted to order, and the sourdough twist bread was dry. Our food was okay, but not worth the price. The place is comfortable and attractive, but I wouldn't recommend it to others.

We really like craftsman kitchen & cocktails. It's always good food and consistent! I just wish there were a few more Cabernet choices but that's not a big deal! We will be back.
The drinks were refreshing and well balanced. We ordered 6 chicken lollipops and 2-3 were undercooked. The flesh was pink and the texture was slimy. The braised ox tail sandwich lacked flavor and was under seasoned. The trout was dry, some kind of sauce could've save it. Great neighborhood option but they need to focus more on the executing better food.
The Bar manager/waitress has helped us every time. Great food, great service love out new breakfast spot. I hope my stellar review doesn't ruin the place for us, no wait no crowd. lol If it does, they deserve it.
Mother's Day brunch was a disappointment. Servers were extremely inattentive. We had to repeatedly get up from our table to ask for condiments, coffee refills, and the missing potatoes from one of the entrees. My parents enjoyed their eggs. I found my huevos rancheros a little bland. I would not go back for brunch. We did have a great dinner there a few weeks ago, however.
Great food and drinks in a neighborhood spot! Parking is a pain in the busy plaza so plan ahead or Uber. Favorite items are the meatballs, kale salad, trout, burger, and fish & chips. Servers and bartenders are so helpful.
