"Manager" Amy served what she claimed was a lemon drop, confirmed she made it with vodka and sprite, then when I explained the specs in a lemon drop she told me "I'm wrong" she claimed she googled it, and then claimed I must have never been a bartender. I currently run a bar program for a multi-operation franchise, as well as being pretty competent as a bartender so I'm pretty sure I know how a lemon drop is made. Included is what it looks like when you "Google a lemon drop". I get it's a "dive bar" I used to work in one in Tempe for years, but you also don't argue with the people paying you for drinks when they try to clarify what they order. Further, she then confronted the person the lemon drop was for, and threatened to call the police on her for complaining?? I'm not sure what the police were gonna do but they'd probably make a better lemon drop than this lady did.

Great little dive bar with some Star Wars flavor to the decor, as well as some creepy dolls and stuff. Upon entering we were greeted with the awesome little jam session going on, with an array of instruments and musicians. The guy hopped off the guitar to serve us drinks, and then we talked about Kingdom Hearts for a bit 😅 Nice little spot to grab a drink 🍻

I actually went in to get dinner from the great Mexican place that is also now opened in this concept (coffee shop/Mexican Restaurant/Bar/community center (each night a different event - from live Jazz, to open Mike, to Techno) - the night I went was techno, and a bit loud for an old guy like me but nice selection of locally crafted beers at a good price ($6 for a good sized pour) - I think I'll like it better when the music is acoustic but nice bar to sit at - and in walking distance for a lot of people in the community. Amy was the bartender and very nice and the beer lines are clean (beer was quite fresh) - and they have parking for bicycles, which is nice, along with some spots for cars.

I used to come to the jazz night on mondays and there's other free live music events that are awesome , with talented musicians. I believe open mic night is on a tuesday Somewhat older niche crowd . Not sure of the hours food is served... I wouldn't reccomed this place for people with social anxiety because many of the regulars lack standard boundaries. A friend of mine was made uncomfortable by at least two regulars because she rejected their sexual advances, so I don't really feel comfortable going back.
