We have been waiting a few years to have halal guys again since recently moving back to the valley and we are so disappointed in today's visit. For starters the music is so loud in this location that I had a hard time hearing the worker and had to have him repeat quite a few times. They were also out of so much! No hummus, no side veggies, no olives. The falafel was undercooked. The plates were mainly lettuce and very little meat and rice. I got two-two item regular plates full of lettuce! On the flip side the worker was friendly and greeted us immediately including my baby. Great customer service. Food needs some work.
Good food. If you're particularly hungry, you might want extra falafel balls on the falafel sandwich, since they seemed to be smaller this time around and there were only 3 falafel balls on a large pita. The honey Sriracha falafel balls are good but not that flavorful, so I was wondering if I had only the original falafel balls, but they did look darker and slightly redder than the original, so were probably honey Sriracha. The pita on the sandwich was a little dry and a little hard as it broke apart easily so that much of the contents fell out, see photo, although the pita was not completely hard yet. The server/cashier may need retraining on hygiene as he wore food prep gloves while using the register, then later used the register without food gloves, and another time without food gloves picked up a food container with his fingers on the inside of the container, then put the container back for later use, so that's a little concerning. I tried to provide feedback using the link in the email and the app, but those links don't work, so here's the feedback. Hopefully will be better next time.
The food is really good but they forget the sauce all the time, so you end up with a dry bowl of rice and whatever meat you ordered.
Try med fresh on mill ave bc this food is trash
Just started coming and here and love it! Every time I come here I can’t wait to come back. Great food. I do a beef and chicken bowl and it’s always delicious. The spicy red sauce is awesome too if you can handle the heat. So glad I started coming here, friendly staff too!
This place was good when they first opened, but I saw them reheat food that was previously cooked on the flat top. Honestly the quality for the price is not there. You would be better off going to ANY other Mediterranean food place. The employees also seem to not want to be there. I went at 7pm on a weekday and they were completely empty.
I’ve tried it in NYC and this location is nothing like the original taste, it has no flavor meat tastes like it’s been reheated many times, they served us frozen undercooked falafel. They failed to control the quality.
Edited on 5/30/2022: This location has gone downhill. It's extremely dirty and ragged. We arrived today right when this location opened. The floors were dirty, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The toilet paper dispenser was open and on the floor along with the roll of toilet paper. The trash can was caked with some gunk with no new bag in the bin. The paper towel dispenser was open and just hanging there. The toilet bowl had a brown and pink ring all around it. It was soo disgusting. Two stars at this point.

Food was solid and establishment ok. Solid 3 stars.
No curb side parking so it can be tricky to get your halal food.
Hot sauce was on point and very hot.
Was quite shocked there was a up charge for canned jalapeños.
Chicken could use some seasoning as it was fairly meh. Every other halal guys place I have been to had very well seasoned chicken from the grill.
Did not help that during the whole process of putting everything in the plate I could see everything except when it came to the condiments. I could not see how much onions or jalapeños or hot sauce was being put on the plate.
Felt the plate was stuffed with lettuce which reduced on the portions of protein and rice.
Pita bread was pre cut and looked nice in the metal compartment before putting in the plate I ordered. Was rock hard within 5 minutes of taking the lid off.

I came in right before closing last night and ordered 2 large plates. They were perfect. I ordered rice, gyro meat and a side of hummus for my toddler, no problem. I ordered wings and didn't get them. I attempted to call and let them know but there was no phone number. I live 45 minutes away and drove that far to not get my full order... Manager will you address this?
