This place is awesome! My friends and I frequent the Hudson for their whiskey flights and specials every week. All of the food here I've had has been excellent. Joe usually takes care of us and is just a great dude, he's always talking with us and letting us know what's coming in etc. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Got the Chipotle jalapeño burger and thay was really good. Their French fries were well seasoned and crispy- highly recommend. Atmosphere is cozy and enjoyed the open air area. Burger here are a must have.

Torn on giving this place three stars. Food was good and the guy working the bar inside was friendly however the blonde girl who was waiting tables outside was unfriendly and inattentive to our table. She seemed annoyed when we asked for more ketchup and napkins, the other person at my table commented to me about her attitude. She never came by to check on us or refill our waters. If not for the experience of having her supposedly wait on us, I could've easily given this place 5 stars.

River gave phenomenal service and made sure I was satisfied by giving me a replacement drink after receiving a beer I didn't want. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied even post purchase. For my first time, I'm impressed by the agility and service 👏

What a warm, neighborhood spot that feels both laid-back and lively! The Hudson is exactly the kind of place you go when you want classic American pub food done well, without too much fuss. I tried the Pastrami Boom Boom Burger which was juicy and bold, and the Dry Rub Wings, crispy, flavorful, with a good kick. Their drink menu is strong too, interesting beers, local picks, and solid cocktails. The patio is shaded and comfortable, inside feels cozy without being cramped. Staff seem genuinely friendly, and even during busy times, food arrives without ridiculous waits. A go-to in Tempe if you want great casual eats + good drinks + a place where people seem happy to hang out.
I stopped by today, owner acknowledged us and told us there is a wait, i appreciate the communication, food was great, at the end of the meal the owner took care of us.

Awesome spot to enjoy maybe one of the best burgers and sandwiches in Arizona. Great whiskey and bourbon selection as well. They also carry The American Whiskey and The American Barrel Strength, which are local to AZ! The people are very service minded and attentive. Highly recommend and have been recommending to several. Looking forward to coming back multiple times!
