Customer service sucks, asked to scan my rewards and she said “you have to do that before you pay” so I asked how come they don’t ask and her response “cuz most people don’t have the app” like girl please. This is second time this has happened. I asked if I can get a receipt to upload for points and she said “no, we don’t do that”
If you want people to use the app that should be asked and suggested to help promote. This is bad marketing because they seem to not be able to figure how to promote or ask their customers something THEY OFFER. I didn’t even want to use my free drink reward, would just like credit towards my $8 coffee.
This location absolutely sucks.
The espresso bean is the only reason to even go to this establishment and the ONLY reason they didn’t get 1 star. Save yourself the money spent there and go to another coffee shop.
The iced shaken butter began taste like just straight up espresso, no flavor, no sweetness. More bitter than me after they wouldn’t care to help a customer.

Not much of an atmosphere beyond the window, sadly, as you only have that one awkwardly positioned slab of sidewalk with the even more awkward railing, surprisingly nowhere to sit out here at the human bean tempe but that's just cause they love us folks here in tempe 🤣 but anyway I find their rewards app super dope and also shout out to the Barista who took my order. She was so dope haha

I submitted a donation request online, last week. I called the store to receive an update just now. After telling the manager my name and organization, she hung up. I called back immediately, and they allowed it to go to voicemail. Do with that what you’d like.

The coffee is fine, it's the cup. This place has the absolute worst coffee cups. My drink almost always leaks out from the cup seam at the lid, or from the bottom. What use is a stopper when coffee has leaked all over your hand, just carrying it.

11/13/2024 8:10am went there to the drive through and the lovely manager was working(sarcasm) she was condescending actually, I put my order in as quad shot, add snowy and add caramel then add 2% milk. She replied “that sounds like a latte, I’m going to put that in as a sugar mamma” I said no you have to put it in as ordered, per me being a barista at a human bean for a year and a half, I know these things. She replies “was that at this location? The owners here are different, they want us to put the drinks in as they’re on the menu, I’m not going to put it in the way you’re asking me to” she refused so I went to Starbucks instead and was very pleased because I had no issues there, I put my order in like this to every coffee shop I go to and never have issues. this inconvenienced my morning 👎

The baristas here are lovely and friendly. They actually carry sugar free peppermint and decent oatmilk for a mocha, it taste perfect.

Used to love coming here for the sugar free peanut butter flavor. That with sugar free chocolate and macadamia milk and it would be HEAVEN. But I stopped going and got a free drink offer so I went back. Was very disappointed when I asked for sf peanut butter they said they didn't have it. So I name 1 other flavor i used to get there and they didn't have that in stock either. I ask to see the flavor list and pick one or two choices on it. Out of it. Was feeling pretty frustrated and ended up with a flavor I didn't love. Waited quite a bit longer than usual and they come back and hand me a pitch black coffee. I kindly explain I requested macadamia milk and the kid tells me its in there its just the milk comes out clear sometimes (but really its bc the carton just needs to be shaken.) So I ask for more on the side and that came out fine. Drive down the road and I take a sip. They forgot my stevia. Luckily the drink was free but it is just super frustrating and then I see the receipt says it would have been $11? Yikes. Don't know my drink was rang in right bc it was just a flavored cold brew.
