My son and I like to try new places to dine, but when there's an important sporting event on TV, we go to the Lodge. Consistent, flavorful food and attentive staff. Good stuff!

Updated my original review from five years ago. I suppose the owner and food are stuck in a time warp and don't want to improve anything ? Still a cool location, simply long overdue to improve the menu and food, as it's simply not great. Just walk next door to Culinary Dropout for significantly better food.-- Review from 2018 --Desperately needs a re-vamp of it's menu and food. The food is mediocre at best. It's a shame, ...as it's a cool location.

The food is great! I had “The Lodge” cheeseburger with waffle fries and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had. The staff are friendly and the log cabin atmosphere is cool!Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicap parking spots and there are no steps

I went to this restaurant with my family last night and had a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience with the service and food there. Me and my family (8 people) came in to eat dinner since we traveled from Tucson to Phoenix for the food festival but was unable to enter b/c of the line. We called before arriving to see if the would take us since it was 8 people. They said yes and we arrived within 12 minutes around 6:30 or 7. When we sat down our server came by within 7 minutes of sitting with 8 waters (didn’t tell us her name, female with glasses and blue leggings) as soon as she put the drinks down she told us she will be right back to give us time to look at the menu and tried to leave but we told her that we are ready to order drinks and have her 3 orders of alcohol drinks and then left. We continued to sit their for 3 minutes and me and my sister went to the bathroom and after the bathroom we went to the bar (the bartender was cleaning and kind) b/c my sister changed her mind and wanted alcohol. She got her drinks before the other drink orders and the server said the bartender got busy and it will be a little while and left. Also, while I was in the bathroom my family order appetizers. We continued to set there for 10 minutes until she came back to get our order. We ordered 2 tenders, 5 burgers/sandwiches and 1 salad. We didn’t get our food until 1 hour and 30 minutes. Within that first 45 minutes of waiting the server came by and said it will be out soon but didn’t ask if we need anything, I even told her that I forgot we order food. She was also helping the table next to us (5/6 people) and side note we are POC and the table next to us were non-POC gentleman also most of the restaurant was full of non-POC even the stuff except two employees, they are POC. But they got their checks and additional items while we sat there for an hour with no complaints and their checks where divided in 4/5 ways (this is important to this information). Once our food came out the servers that was helping her were confused but nice on who had what but she was no where to be found to help them. Once the food was sorted out one of my family members didn’t have their food because they messed up her order and gave her a wrap instead of a sandwich. While we are and finished our food she still didn’t get her food until we got the check(s?). When we were ready to pay she stated that it will be all on one check, right? We told her no since we were going to a food event we were going to pay our way. But she didn’t know that since she didn’t want to talk to us. We explained to her that it will be separate bills. She said that she can’t do that and we ask her if she is sure and wants the most she can spilt it she said two ways. My brother and sister-in-law paid the bill with an automatic gratuity since the bill had more than 6 people. The food was not that great and the server needs to learn how yo make people from different walks of life feel welcome. We didn’t leave an additional tip, which would have been $100 cash, if she put in the effort to be kind and not lie to us. Me and my family felt upset and no welcome in the restaurant and discriminated against. To the African American gentleman you are amazing and get another job that would appreciate you, we tried to get your attention to tip u before we left but I guess you were in the back, but if you review readers decide to go there ask for him.

My experience here was not good. I called ahead to see if they take reservations or walk-ins, the woman on the phone replied no to reservations and yes to walk-ins. I informed her this will be a large group and is it okay, she said yes. When we got our table, she began ordering our drinks. Once she was done 35 minutes passed and we didn’t get our drinks so one of us went up to the bar and ordered a drink to be delivered to the table that person got the same drink that was order 45 minutes in 5 minutes. The food took even longer than the drinks. When our food arrived the argued with us say we didn’t order a chicken sandwich and we ordered a wrap. We informed them and showed them that on the menu we asked for the name of the food and that she wound like it as a sandwich. Then when it’s time to go we asked for five ways they said they can only split the check two ways. But the other table beside us splits it five ways. Once we got the check we understood that the woman already added 20% of the tip into the check. So we understood why she didn’t split because she want a tip and didn’t let us decide if she spited five ways. Do not attend the place if you have a big group.

Food is solid, nice indoor outdoor spaces. Is a great neighborhood restaurant to watch a game or just hang out.

It was my first time there, so we chose to sit outside because it was a nice day out, and we wanted some fresh air. It was about 1030 a.m., so I think they just opened, but there were people there already enjoying watching the games that were on .I had the Cubano sandwich my first time trying it, and I must say that it was really good .it had pulled pork ,ham, pickles and cheese on a flat bread I never had b4 but it was soft and really good.then there's a white sauce that they give you that sauce was really good the sandwich was good with out the sauce but with the sauce it was great..sweet potato fries where really crunchy salted and were a real nice complement to the Cubano sandwich.lemonade was good go.overall 9.5 out of 10

Menu says burgers come out medium. First burger came out well done. 20 minutes later the second one comes out the same way. Well done. Didn't eat either burger. $18 for bacon cheeseburger. Normal expectation when you have to re fry anything it doesn't go to the back of the line of tickets.
