Social Hall Restaurant + Venue

We hosted a work event casino night in the Rafter Room and it was fantastic! Our guests had the best time, the food and drinks were delicious and Bailey was a wonderful coordinator and host. I highly recommend this space for events!

Great place to hang, have a couple drinks, play games, and grab excellent food. The food and Old Fashion they make were outstanding! Good portion sizes and had plenty of leftovers for another meal. Fun games and lively atmosphere help make this place a way to get out as adults to be kids again. Even though busy with hosting a big formal upstairs, the managers ensured us personally on what's going on and that their made from scratch kitchen will get us served.. and they did great!

Had dinner here for an event. Dinner was a pollo/carne taco bar. The meat was well seasoned and prepared. The space was great and the bar staff were super friendly and helpful.

I was in search of a place to have a birthday party for my son's 19th birthday. We had 30 people. I live in CA and have never been to Tempe, so my research was all online with Yelp and the restaurant's websites. I chose the Social Hall for the food options, reviews, games, location, and price of meals. I emailed them to see if they would be a good fit for us. Bailey was quick to respond and circled back around to me each time I took a while to respond. At first, we thought we'd like the private room upstairs, but that was only offered with a minimum spend, and since the kids are young and don't drink alcohol, that wouldn't work for us. They accommodated us with outside tables on the patio. When we arrived, we were greeted at the front by our friendly server, Dylan. He was understanding that some of our party was delayed and assured me that it was not a problem. The atmosphere and service were top-notch. A lot of us ordered the rib-eye steak with corn risotto and veggies. It was sooo good! I always appreciate it when servers use seat numbers for everyone's orders and don't auction off plates of food. They gave us pitchers of water, which was also appreciated. Having the games to play in between eating and after was more than perfect. We were all pleased with the quality and quantity of our meals. When I walked around the restaurant, everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves as much as we were. Kudos to the owners, managers, and employees for running such a nice establishment.
*Disclaimer* I was a career waitress for many years. So I do know what a special place is when I see it.

Social Hall is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. Seating is available for large groups and the place has a fun vibe. Service can be a bit slow if they are busy.

Never wrote a bad review before but I also never left a place so quickly before. I came in with my partner at around 9:40 to get dinner and we wanted to seat outside. The bartender told us that in about 20 minutes the kitchen was going to close and it was going to be only bar service so we sat at the bar. She was VERY harsh and bitchy. We asked ONE question about a dish that pops up when you look at the place in google maps and she answered in a very rude way so I proceeded to ask about the rest of of the items in the menu and she once again was like “If it’s in the menu it’s available” her whole attitude was off. Like we were bothering them by being there. And the same happened with these other employees outside when we asked if they could take a picture of us, we received the same harsh and bitchy attitude. We’ve been there before and it wasn’t like that so it’s a shame how not welcoming can someone be for us to never want to come back :(

Recently hosted a baby shower for about 40 people in their studio space! It was a flawless event. Bailee did an incredible job organizing the event! The food was served timely, the hosts were attentive and quick to service, and they allowed outside vendors to come in and bring the vision to life! Very grateful for the experience. Plan to use them again!

This place should be packed. Amazing patio. Like nicest in the area. Yet 5 employees setting up lights and you have to go inside to order. Chairs built for cushions with no cushions. For a Friday night it felt dead. I'd be surprised if they keep going without changing management or owner(s). Definitely missed the mark, this place could be killing it if they brought in local bands and DJs, improved employee customer contact, and filtered their water.

What a fun place. So many games. Great food. Me and my 3 teens had so much fun!

We used Social Hall to cater our community football watch party and couldn’t have been happier! The food was absolutely delicious—classic game day bites that everyone loved. Our residents raved about the quality and variety, and everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was smooth and professional, making the event stress-free on our end. We’ll definitely be using them again for future events!
