Visited for the first time tonight. Ordering was fast and prompt. The girl at the counter was very friendly and even offered a few recommendations. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, seemed like a very long time for 2 sandwiches, kids tender, Mac and cheese and fries but we thought "food will be worth it!" When the food finally arrived it was all wrong. My wife asked for a hot chicken San which with no lettuce or pickles. They gave her a plan sandwich with lettuce and pickles. I asked for a medium hot sandwich with Mac and cheese. They gave me a hot chicken sandwich with fries. We let the girl at the counter know and she was empathetic. She stated that our order would be remade. A second girl with glasses came back with one of the sandwiches we had returned and insisted that it was made correctly. At that point I was irritated. You have the receipt. It cleared states what we ordered and what we were charged for. I had to refer her to the receipt and then she finally came back AGAIN and said they would remake out food. Once we finally did get the food it was very delicious but by that time it was kind of hard to enjoy since we had now waited almost 40 minutes. Just based on the service I will never visit again. Food was great but not enough to go back.

Pretty good when piping hot, I wouldn't recommend letting it sit for over 20min though as it definitely decreases the experience. Seasoning on the chicken is quite good, but the breading is a little thick for my liking. Great service wonderful people that work there. Fries are good could use a bit more seasoning and the ranch is very good.

Fries were nice and crispy..The problem with this is I asked for slaw instead of fries and was upcharged for it. Still got fries and didn't get the slaw I paid for. The Caribbean jerk is...Not. It is pure scotch bonnets, no flavor, spices etc. Just heat that will burn your mouth for a good 5 minutes with no other flavors. Not even salt. It was inedible for me and I eat some of the hottest curries you've ever had. If it's too hot for me it's not fit for human consumption. The ASU sauce was solid, but nothing spectacular. Give this place a miss.

We needed to order out for a quick yummy lunch, and I needed my food to be dairy free (because of an allergy) so my buddy got the chicken tenders and I got a vegan chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! I admit I was a little jealous of how awesome my friend's tenders were but I was very happy with my food too. Kudos for having options to suit everyone!!

This place is incredible from the food to the people. I came in and ordered a meal, Mary Ann fried chicken and realized they had gotten a big small, so she threw in some extra tenders free of charge. Maverick was so friendly as well. Extremely clean restaurant with amazing homemade food. A must in Tempe!!

This food was pretty good. The fries were good sprinkled with a good amount of Cajun seasoning. The sandwich wasn't messy, But I couldn't say the same for my sister, whose sandwich was falling apart to the point when it became a chicken salad somehow. Don't ask how. The inside was decently clean except for some random stains here and there. I would go again. We went around 6 PM when there was not a lot of people. Around 7:30 pm we walked past it on the way back to our car and there was about 20 people in there which isn't bad. Would go again.

This was some of the best if not the best hot chicken ever. The flavor was incredible, fries were crispy and well seasoned and ranch was good too. Beignets were great. James helped me out when I came whatever he's getting paid it's not enough.
We loved the food. Chicken was crispy outside and still juicy from inside. We loved the flavors. We are not into very spicy food, so we took mild heat and it was perfect for us.

This place is located right on Mill Avenue is definitely a spot to go to. If you're craving the spicy chicken sandwich. The food here is exceptional. The service was amazing. Also, this chicken definitely lives up to the name twist, hot chicken. I definitely recommend this especially if you're in the Tempe area.

Vegetarian options: I gave a 3 review because strips were dry and overcooked . Now my daughter made me wrap's out of the tenders it was delicious. I'm bed ridden so I do delivery a lot. You guys do make a great effort to make good food . Thank you for the extra tenders .

Had the vegan chicken. So good! Gonna go up a heat level next time. Don't sleep on the fires or Stubborn Soda either.Vegetarian options: Having a great vegan option, I know the non vegan option will be fire for everyone who eat here!
