The Urban Tea House is located in a very busy area of ASU so be aware. Thankfully they have a small shared parking lot. The parking spaces are a commodity here. Street parking is not an option on this busy street. There were several vendors in this plaza, mostly eateries. The House is small and clean. I took a few minutes to study the menu and decided on a raspberry slush. The slush was ready in minutes. It was refreshing and very flavorful. Probably more sugar than I needed but I was thirsty. Not only do they have drinks, they also have a limited food menu. I saw Banh mi on the menu. I wasn't there for food so did not really look at that part of the menu closely. High top tables and chairs are available for seating. A good outing!

The boba thai tea that we got was really sweet. It’s the sweetest thai tea that I have ever had. Recommend getting maybe 50% or 25% sweetness.

Best fried I’ve ever eat in my life. So tasty crispy and crunchy. No need to dip with sauce unless you want more taste.Veggie fried spring rolls also crunchy and taste healthy in the same time.For milk tea. If you are not a fan of sweet or don’t like much sugar , recommend to reduce sweetness. Mine even reduced to 25% but too sweet but still tasty and yummy and refreshing. I ordered Hokkaido milk tea with boba btw.Cafe itself is quite small but cozy and relaxing. Nice decorations. Many seats to sit down and relax alone or with friends.Friendly staffs and fast service and smiley.Will visit and try another menu for sure.

Usually, the customer service is pretty good and everything goes smoothly. I really enjoy this tea shop! It’s really a cozy environment and the staff are kind. However my recent visit was fairly surprising. I went and ordered, just one drink, sat down, 3-4 orders go by in a fifteen minute period and mine hasn’t been called out yet. I assumed they forgot about it and I kindly reminded them about my drink and they made it within two minutes! I’m not really upset about them forgetting my drink, I used to work at a boba shop so I can understand it, but if you notice a customer that’s been hanging around a little more without any of your product than the rest of your customers, I’d figure people would take notice and ask if they’re waiting on something. Again, this part isn’t the part that made me upset. The part that did was the cashier(a pale, blue eyed blonde) took a lady’s order, the lady asked for a milk alternative and she did get that, she then asked if they had any cheese foam and which the cashier responded they didn’t. Everything went smoothly you know, no harm done! Until the cashier went to the back and loudly started making fun about this lady in the back to her coworkers and they all laughed about her. I don’t think this lady really noticed, but other customers and I definitely noticed. I get it you know, customers can be silly and annoying at times, but if you’re going to talk about them loudly in the back where they can audibly hear you word for word, you might as well say it to their face. I’d suggest for the next time that the staff talk quieter if the customer is still in the shop or wait till they leave.

I don't know how the food is. I came here for my 23 year old son because he likes these kinds of places. He ordered...and it took a long time. I didn't time it, but the wait was too long. And they weren't busy. My two star rating is ONLY for the excessive wait, not for the food.

Eh, it's ok. I enjoyed the food and the staff was really nice. It's a cute place, and really convenient living near ASU. But the boba itself was not very good and tasted kind of old or like the canned boba drinks from the grocery store :(

We stopped for boba tea unexpectedly and we are so glad we did. We had the winter tea, Longan honey , Thai tea milk tea, vanilla milk tea and honey green tea. They were excellent. I have tried boba tea all over the word when I travel and this was a place I would say is one of the best. The person who took our orders was so knowledgeable and the tea was ready quickly. Try and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
