Well turns out this place is a bad place since it’s had its few run inn with the law and the security guards inside . Seems like every security guard is a young lil kid with no knowledge and experience on how to talk to patrons as well as they are not well trained . I would not recommend this place it’s toxic. If you look I’m not the only person who thinks the security is not trained and they don’t know what they’re doin

The security guards there are so sinister, I went on Monday with friends to celebrate a 21st birthday. I wore a bandana (which I have worn there countless times) and was told that I can’t get in due to “dress code” because of it. I then proceeded to take off my bandana but was humiliated due to me not having my hair done fully and they giggled as I walked into the bar with my bandana off and my hand covering my head, I walk in and see people with bandanas and other forms of hats. I felt so embarrassed and cried in the bathroom, I know Varsity does not have a dress code because well…its Varisty so safe to say I will not be returning and black people avoid this place like the plague 💋

*Flash-warning* Traveled from VA, had a blast! It is about 3 or 4 floors, all of which had different DJ’S, showcasing different vibes. very inclusive, extremely fun!

The bartender Leila I had on 6/30 saw my friends and I extremely inebriated and charged me a 20% gratuity fee for 2 rounds of drinks in my party of 3. I have never had that happen (we didn’t order any food!) at a Phoenix bar before but it was extremely dishonest and made my bill over $100 for 6 standard drinks. I did not notice until the day after when I had already spent $120 because i’m an auto tipper of 20% and didn’t assume a girl bartender would take advantage of generous tipping. For visitors: this has never happened to me at any other Phoenix bar. Reading reviews, I now see that this is a common issue for the bar and changed my review from 3 stars to 1 to hopefully warn customers.

No good. Manager ignored concerns and request in person and on the phone. Girls fighting for tips. 3.6 star reputation isn’t suiting enough. They deserve 1 star for their overall hospitality

Bouncer Frankie was awful. Safety is the priority at a bar like that of course, but he was very rude to one of my friends. We had just gotten there for the night, helped a girl that was throwing up next to their bar, didn’t even know her, but then all of us got denied entry because they profiled her and thought she was in our group. When we were leaving he told my friend to “have the night you deserve” Terrible experience
Absolutely the worse if possible would give a negative review. The customer service was horrible, unfriendly, overpriced, and down right a horror show of a place. They charged a 20 percent charge if the service is great I have no problem leaving that and more. But to get automatically charged that and get horrible service no not at all that is robbery. Bouncer and security are friendly there was one who does not belong and will get the others hurt if not properly trained.

Don't come for the food. Absolutely disgusting. And we were the only ones there and it took 30 mins for a shrimp app and 45 for 3 bowls. Shrimp over cooked un old oil. Server was a really nice girl and felt bad. She's the only good part.
This place is good for one thing. College kids getting hammered at night.
