Beautiful and welcoming place. Unfortunately we waited an hour before drinks (other than water) were served. That of course put a damper on the whole evening. Our server was new and apologized but the damage was fine. Nevertheless it is so charming and the food do good I will be back.

Our dinner last evening was very disappointing. The service was very slow and we had to ask multiple times for items, the service was extremely slow and disorganized. The food was good but not exceptional. It took nearly 15 minutes for drinks and 45 minutes to get food served. The restaurant itself seems to be not well maintained. The lampshade over our table little was falling apart and stained . Salt and pepper shakers nearly empty and dirty. We will not be returning again to this restaurant.

Our family has been going to Mario's restaurants for years. Always a favorite when our family gets together. He and his staff are wonderful hosts and the food is excellent.

The moment you walk in, this Italian spot smells incredible and the food does not disappoint. The service was top-notch with drinks always filled and plenty of tasty dishes like lasagna, ravioli, sausage with pasta, and even a Philly sandwich. The cozy vibe made it feel almost magical, and I can’t wait to come back to try the pizza.

Prices on web site are not accurate. I am a long time customer and new owenship have failed to update their website to reflect new prcies. I called to place to go order, person who helped me on the phone was extremely pleasant but also indirectly apologetic when correcting the prcies for my total. This is unacceptable, I am a local business owner and you do not quote a different price then what you advertise. I will check again in a few days, whether I come back again will depend on what im reading vs. what im quoted.

Again to point out, food and service is excellent. One issue only, as a customer i believe it's crucial this becomes a priority.

Wonderful, as usual. It is my favorite Italian restaurant of all.. Julio was a fantastic server.

I'm so dissatisfied that VinciTorio's has changed hands. The main dishes are the same however there were some differences. First of all, the garlic bread is awful! It's very sweet, not much garlic flavor, and came to our table cold. I ordered the chicken Parmesan which was good however, the side of broccoli was overcooked. The restaurant was very busy and they didn't seem to have enough staff. The bus boy put his finger in his mouth before pouring our water and again when he cleared the dishes. The waitress was nice but seemed overwhelmed. The new owner was standing around and he introduced himself to a large table that was near us -perhaps he should be helping his staff..

It was my third time at Vincitorio's in 2 months, In fact I have been going there for about 2 years, even under the new management of Imad and lily, great people, the food did not change in fact I felt it improved. I have had many of their dishes and all were great but still my fave is the chicken parm. I loved their selection of wine we had a pinot noir bottle it was fantastic and very reasonably priced. My wife and I were greeted at the door by a very welcoming hostess, we were seated at the bar room and they had live music , the musician was great his voice was great. We enjoyed his saxophone and sound that we stayed there until closing. The service was a ten thank you Julio our server, and we would definitely be coming back especially on Thursdays to listen to Guillaume play.

I was really excited to bring a friend to this place, and after reading some reviews, the few bad reviews I read about tasteless food came true.
We walked in and immediatley greeted by a very nice hostess. I did call ahead and reserved a table in the piano room. This place definitely gave off a good vibe, with an impressive wine collection that filled all the wall space. Our server was dull. The new proprietor even came by our table and chatted with us about the wine collection.

I had the Chicken Saltimbocca, and my friend ordered Chicken Marsala. The Saltimbocca was a major dissapointment, and the sauce tasted like something out of a can. This dish was slapped together like someone in a hurry, to get out of town. It didn't look good, and tasted as bad as the presentation. Definitley not made with love.

My friends chicken marsala was tastless! How the hell do you screw up a marsala. She was very dissapointed and didn't come close to finishing the meal. The salad wasn't much to bragg about either. She left the salad and chicken for them to toss. I was embarrassed for this establishment.

The people who leave positive reviews about the food here, don't know what the true meaning of using spices, and sauces that bring out the flavor of a true Italian meal.

I love leaving honest and mostly positive reviews, but this really saddened me. For such a quaint little place, you'd think a better dining experience, would have been had.

I know it is under new ownership, and hope they take this review serious enough to look at how they can make things better. I recently had two dinners at Italian restaraunts in San Diego, and they represtented, what I would expect from Vincintorios. Not the case. Feel free to read my other reviews and you will see what my expereinces were there. The cooks here cut corners, and the end product leaves little to desire. I've had more flavor from corporate chains like Carrabbas!!

Vincintorios is definitely the neighborhood watering hole, but that is about it, from my experience.

Food is the worst we have had at this restaurant. This restaurant was one of our favorites. The chicken scaraparsa which was supposed to be a chicken breast was served as a diced chicken in a sauce, was more like a chicken stew. That did not taste good and barely eaten. Pasta served with it barely had effort sauce to cover it. Sea food dish with salmon and shrimp was not good and not eaten as the salmon chucks were too fishy to eat. Service also was much slower than ever before when we have eaten there.

I'm not sure whats used to make the Alfredo sauce here, but I couldn't taste much of anything much less parmesan, it reminded me more of a roux. Pretty dissapointed with it overall.
