This pasta is so fresh, and it’s fancy quality despite being in that “Maggianos” pricing level. Best I’ve had in the valley so

Pretty good overall! Came in without a reservation on a Friday night and was seated in about 20 minutes.Laid back environment with professional wait staff. Food was 4/5, but the service was very very good.4/5 overall.

Not a great experience. Paid $3 extra for two ingredient Caesar salad that had a metal taste. Entree was pricey for weird tasting chicken. Server was attentive but food service slow.

We dined at this Italian restaurant in Tempe, AZ, and much to my surprise, it was wonderful and authentic! The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere reminded me of the Italian restaurants in Littly Itlay, NYC.The food was wonderful, and even fresh made pasta! I would highly recommend it.Buon appetito!

I was hoping this restaurant was going to be exactly what I read. I was sadly disappointed when a black hair was in my salad. She kindly offered a $5 discount. The pasta sauce is not Italian as it is made with cheese. Very few clams in the dish. The bread was tasteless and dull. The vegan pasta dish was made with no eggs, which I appreciated. It was not worth the cost. They threw cheap garden vegetables in the dish like broccoli stems, carrots, and soggy zucchini in a bowl of oil that didn't taste like olive oil but like sunflower oil, with garlic that was not fresh. I know of two Italian restaurants that would be worth every penny, owned by Italian families. I felt bad my boyfriends mother paid for this overpriced dinner, she's Italian, Sicilian. Don't market your restaurant if it's not of great Italian food quality. I hope you find this feedback to improve your "family gem" restaurant.

Not impressed at all. Seafood ravioli had no flavor, spaghetti bolognese the sauce was watered down and flavorless and the Stromboli was sitting in juice so bottom was completely soggy.

This is not the place to go for lunch. It took 20 minutes before we even were waited on, and it was 30 more minutes before our salads came out. Then our lunch hour was over, and we had to get our entrées to go and we had hoped for a drink and dessert. We would've been there for two hours just for lunch. It's probably fine for retirees who have a lot of time for meals in the middle of the day, but don't consider it if you're on a work lunch hour.

My fiancé knew he’d have to work late on Valentine’s Day so we made a reservation for 2/15 weeks in advance. Despite having a reservation for 6:45, we had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time with no explanation or apology from the hostess. When we were being seated at 7:05, we saw there was a reserved 6 top (the note on the table said reservation for 5 people at 6:30). When we asked the hostess why we had to wait/why our table wasn’t reserved as theirs was, she said they only plan ahead for larger parties and that they didn’t break down that table because it’s easier to make a 2 top than a 5 top. I fail to see how the other larger party’s reservation has anything to do with ours, when we made our reservation weeks in advance, and were on time, unlike the other party. If only larger parties are actually reserved, the restaurant’s policy should have said that on Open Table. It’s frustrating that our table wasn’t planned for/actually reserved. Additionally, there was a couple who had walked in (no reservation) who seemed like regulars and were seated before us. Granted, they were seated on the patio, but given we had a reservation and the restaurant was late to seat us, they should have offered us the outside table before the other couple. Once we were sat, the service was great and so was the food, ambience, and everything. I loved the wine selection (had a delicious Valpolicella), fried ravioli, maccheroni al forno, and my fiancé loved the seafood fradiavolo. He said the seafood was cooked perfectly. I’m just disappointed with having to wait and no apology or explanation, because it makes me feel our business wasn’t being valued when we spent over $150 for the two of us. I wish the waitress, manager, or owner had addressed the issue with us after speaking to the hostess. I would like to eat here again, but am worried about wait times and not honoring reservations.

Very busy Friday evening - many people waiting for tables - but we only waited 10 minutes for our table. Service was prompt and attentive. Server very cordial. Very noisy - the place was packed - but out table along a wall afforded a little privacy from the noise. My spouse had the calamari appetizer - nice big serving, but he said the calamari was more rubbery than it should have been. I had the lasagna - huge serving - good temp - great marinara sauce and plenty of sausage. Very tasty! Even with my spouse having a good helping, there was still more than I could eat. We opted to skip dessert.

Why are they on Open Table? 25 minutes after our reservation, we were finally seated. It was so loud that we could barely hear each other. The food was good, but not great. Sauces were kind of bland.

We took out of town guests and they loved the authentic experience. Our server was on top of everything without being too much. Food however was not as good as normal. Pasta too soft, sauce not as deep of flavor
