So glad we found out we have one in Arizona now
I was in the area for a client 😩 I had to take a peek. Definitely will be back. If you need a Travel Hair Braider @puffqueenkayla and maybe we can go here .

Donuts are heavy, overly sweet, greasy, and rich.

Was excited to try the Voodoo Doughnut here, but the quality was not there. I grew up in Portland and the Portland shops set a higher bar. The donuts I received were overly greasy, the shapes were uneven, and the overall texture felt heavy and rushed. For the price, this was disappointing, and I ended up throwing one away.
For anyone who wants a premium donut that feels worth the money, I would recommend Sesame Donuts instead. They originally came from Portland too, and the Phoenix location is run by the sister of the Portland branch owners. I confirmed that face-to-face. The difference shows in the product because the donuts taste cleaner, fresher, and more consistent.
My wife order some adult type doughnuts.

Delicious donuts! We had an apple fritter and a raspberry romeo and coffee. Not much seating, but while we were there it was mostly people coming in for takeout. There was more outdoor seating for nicer weather. Very pleasant young man helped us since it was our first time there.

It was more expensive than I remember it being, but the donuts are still great
It was fun to try the unique flavors, we drove across town to see what the hype was about. However, it seems a bit overpriced that you can only get a reasonable priced dozen from pre-picked and not getting to choose. If you want to choose and still get the dozen, you are paying the a-la-cart price per donut. We got there at opening to make sure nothing was sold out.
Besides the friendly employees and fun atmosphere, we were underwhelmed with the donuts. Even if baked fresh that morning, the texture seemed a bit dry. This could be due to the towers of donuts being open and exposed to the air and not in display cases as other family owned shops I've been to. It was a fun food field trip, but not one we'll be repeating. We'll probably stick to our nearby family donut shop where the texture is super soft and fluffy for at least a couple of days!

Love the unique selections! Banana cream is my favorite. You'll spend around $4-5 for each treat but it's worth it.

Voodoo Doughnut absolutely earned a five‑star shoutout, and a huge part of that is thanks to Addison, who turned a quick doughnut stop into a genuinely standout experience. The shop’s fun, chaotic charm was matched by Addison’s calm, upbeat energy—they offered great recommendations, kept the line moving without making anyone feel rushed, and made the whole visit feel personal in a way you don’t usually get at a busy spot. The doughnuts were incredible, but Addison is the reason I’ll be coming back.

The donuts were good. My only complaint was with there cereal based donuts as the cereal on them was stale. The box it came in was also kind of difficult to get the donuts out. We got twelve donuts and it came in a big square box where donuts were stacked on top of each other causing the icing to smear and even get into nearby donuts. Overall, it was good but for the price I don't know that it would be my first choice.

Just another voodoo doughnut location, which I love. Got some donuts for the dog and I. They were fresh, and hit the spot. I’m glad it’s a bit of a drive to get here, because if it were closer, I’d probably ruin my life with doughnuts. If you lack self control, may be best to avoid.
