The bouncers are over zealous. Been going here for a couple of years but they couldn't care less. Just go during less busy hours and avoid them if you really want to go. Otherwise it's a decent bar.

Been here a few times for live music. They host reasonably popular bands occasionally and double book the tickets so they can’t even fit everyone in the building. If a fire ever broke out I have no idea how they would even handle that.
It’s probably 140 degrees in there because they have double occupancy so it’s a disaster. Sound quality is poor as well. Its also in a run down strip mall with homeless people everywhere and boarded up windows on most the businesses in the buildings
The thing that really made me write the bad review is the most recent clown show that happened the last time I came. They had a big sign with the start time for each band as you got your ticket and wristbands and the main band said 1030. So rather than wait inside a standing room only 120 degree room I left and came back at 1020 and the band was almost done with their set. Lol. Thank you for that.
One if the last bars to host live music. Yucca is absolutely amazing!!
