“Just wanted to thank Ocho Rios, you made our family party a hit with the full pan of Jerk Chicken, simply delicious. The chicken was ready before the time we were to pick it up. Service was wonderful. The pricing was spot on. The pan disappeared so fast seeral of us were trying to find bags to put some in to bring home. Thank you for adding that special something to our family party this past weekend. Everyone was asking where we got the chicken from, and i gladly told them. Will most definitely be going back. “What do I recommend… NOTHING!! I don’t know what happened, I’m a natural person leaving a review: I attended a party on Friday 10/29/21. Menu large pans (full size) for 35 people: Mac & Cheese, Fried Chicken Fried Whitings Collards Yam = $475 The fired chicken was good, it actually was, no photo, we ate it. The collards were okay, sloppy cutting, long stems which brings me to the Mac & cheese, we ate as much as we could out of the center. The Mac & Cheese was not re-heated, it actually came BURNT like that!! How do you present a burnt pan of Mac & Cheese to a customer that paid you $475.00 Sir? The yams, they were horrible, they tasted very odd, very, very odd, I’m not sure if he used Almond Extract or what was used, I don’t know what happened, all I know is, those in attendance that had yams, trashed those as well. The whiting fish, fried perfectly just about everyone in attendance also took fish, and then the let down, it was sooooo salty, far too salty to even remotely enjoy, those in attendance that took fish, trashed that as well. The food was very disappointing for the price spent. AND you forgot the meatless collards, promised you would come back with them and then NEVER did. The only thing you seem to be professional at is your ability to lie. Serious, you should be sued for this mess you called catering because it was despicable!! Now there is another FB page called: Taste of Soul, out of NC, which now leaves me questioning if you replicated some of their older photos as your own. I’ll research that shortly. MY CONCLUSION: Either step game up, or turn your apron in Sir, because you are not a chef by any means, nor remotely even a seasoned home cook. AND don’t attempt to remotely claim that you DID NOT cater this event Sir because YOU DID! YOU DID ALL DAY!!“
