First stop upon arriving in town. Walked in to have lunch (small pizza), and the server was fantastic. The pizza was solid. They have a coin op pool table though, which wasn't very historically correct. The bar itself has been meticulously restored in insane detail, and is worth the stop itself. They even have the old hanging lights in there at intervals, although they've been converted to electric now. Recommended.
The food is average, although I found two things I like, and the fries are always cold or Luke warm. I've stopped ordering them. The atmosphere is fun, loud, and this week the singer was good on stage. I usually stick to salads here, and drink specials are usually about $5. The best part here, is the upstairs balcony overlooking Allen St! Although we had to carry our orders up ourselves, we loved the evening breeze, and cocktails while chatting quietly. If you don't...

The place is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming. I didn’t get to try the food unfortunately, but everyone looked like they were enjoying it.
A great selection of beers and spirits.
Better than I remember, there was live music, and a great atmosphere, even though it was well out of season due to the heat (over 110 degrees Fahrenheit).
