This was first, last and only time. Young man NEVER changed his gloves between varying tasks of food prep , handling money and credit cards and use of cash register. NEVER!!! Food prep required touching everything with his hands, including raw fish. His excuse was there should have been a second person working with him. Then there was the matter of the second door, marked above as an exit. But it was locked! And as a final turnoff, one of the 2 tvs was tuned to boxing, not an inviting view for a dining experience.

First and last time going to this place. Handing RAW food, cash, credit cards and working behind the cash register without ever changing your black gloves is not a place I want to eat. I watch this happen with several customers, going from preparing food to handling money ?. Oh yeah I did notice he wiped his hands once, black gloves still on. So before I left I approach him and suggested he might want to stop going from food to cash and change those gloves often. If the manger reads this post I hope you will have a conversation with the young man you had working in Aloha Poke on May 5th around lunch time 12p or so, in Tubac Arizona and explain the importance of changing his gloves and not just reaching for a cloth and wiping them off. I observed and was very disappointed. He did say there was supposed to be someone else working with him.

We've enjoyed poke at many restaurants, so we know what it can be, and this isn't it. My biggest concern by far was that every piece of the (raw) salmon I tasted was room temperature, not even slightly chilled--a health disaster in the making and the main reason for only one star. Without sauces, the salmon was also flavorless (poor quality and/or old), although admittedly finding good quality fresh fish in a small desert town hundreds of miles from an ocean is a long shot. But based on good quality food elsewhere in the area, we had some hope; dont make the same mistake. The poke approach here is a buffet with dozens of potential ingredients but no guide as to which ingredients work well with which sauces--not helpful to those who aren't familiar with the options--and the staff don't offer any help. (When you get to the end of the buffet line, there are illustrations of two possble bowl combinations--too late to do anything different.) The bowls themselves are 1/2 the size of a nomal poke bowl, and the cardboard bowl itself doesn't add to the experience. And then you get the cost: $40 for 2 small bowls and soft drinks, which would be fine for normal size bowls in a real restaurant. Bottom line: tourist trap. Hint: if you do go here, stay away from the raw fish. And please don't judge good poke by this experience.

I was looking forward to going there to eat but it was closed when we got there at 530, maps said it closed at 6. Nobody around so they probably closed way earlier. I went out of my way to come try this new place out but was really turned off by their unprofessionalism. I will save my gas and time and go spend my money some where else. So much for that.

I went with a hiking group and afterward we came into town for a little bite to eat. I am so happy there was a healthy choice for me and we decided to eat here. The salad definitely made my way and was very fresh and delicious. The service and atmosphere was great. I definitely recommend trying this spot whenever you're up in this area light healthy salad choices.

My mother and I got a poke bowl and boba tea each. We loved them both and will be coming back often. They have a big selection of toppings and it was one of the best boba teas I've had.

I was excited to try this new eatery in Tubac. So there is an impressive array of veggies. However it was a disappointing amount of actual protein. At my other pike place , I was used to about 1“ size cubes filling the bowl . We got 6-8 pieces of dice size cubes. Tiny pieces. Plus there is no water to fill up a water bottle. I went over to the good coffee place next door. It’s healthy but a pretty weak value.

I love this place so much, I go weekly and have never been disappointed. I love that all of the toppings and sauces are included. It’s nice to have healthy food options here on the village. I highly recommend trying all of their proteins and milk tea flavor combos. Thank you Aloha Pokè!

I loved the food here! I was worried because of one review I read, but the place was super clean and fresh. I've never been to Hawaii, so I can't say that it's authentic, but it was really tasty!.I'll definitely come back.

I never had Poke before last night and it was wonderful. Every mouthful an adventure. Picked out what knew I liked into a bowl on top of rice. We'll definitely return.

When I heard one of my favorite types of food was moving in a couple doors down, I was beyond excited. The Tuna Poké Bowl was excellent!
