Food was ok. My wife stake was done different from what she asked for and my food had to be returned back because it had something I could not eat when it was specifically requested not to have it.
Disappointed with the food. My husband's fish was cold and hard like it had been under the warmer for a while. The fish was on a mayo based coleslaw. He did consume some of his food as we had waited over an hour for it. Our reservation were at 5:00 so the restaurant was maybe 20% occupied when we arrived. We have eaten at Stables many times and every Valentine's Day for the last 5 years. Something was very different this time. My husband awoke in the night with nausea.... Maybe that Coleslaw should have been on a side plate. The cost of the fish was removed from our bill. We will not go back next year for Valentine's Day, nor will we be back for quite a while.

Three of us ordered the Cobb salad and we all loved it! The fettuccine primavera was the fourth person's dish and said it was the best he has had. The tortilla soup was just ok. Great service and view.

We visited Stable's yesterday at about 1 PM hoping to have lunch. We were seated by the hostess. There was a ton of dog hair on the floor surrounding our table which seemed odd. We were not acknowledged or waited on after 10-15 min so we left. It wasn't that busy not sure what the problem was. Annoying to say the least.
Overall, a great experience. Definitely a cut above most other options in the area. We enjoyed being given an excellent table on the covered porch where a great outdoor fireplace enhanced the experience. Our food was a little slow coming but the attentive service more than compensated for any delay. We thought the quality and quatity of the food were good and to-go boxes were needed. We will return whenever we have the opportunity.

I ordered grilled chicken pesto fettuccine. For the price of $35 I was expecting all white meat. It was a mixture of white and dark. The dish did not have pesto sauce, but rather what was an attempt to make Alfredo sauce : terrible. I told the server I wanted al dente pasta. The dish came out with the fettuccine being smooch. I won't be back.

My twin sister and me plus our husbands dined here, this Christmas eve. Our waitress, Kim was awesome. We love the ambiance at The Stables Grill. We ordered their bacon wrapped filet. Much to our disappointment, they were out! Therefore, we ordered their Strip Steak. Our steaks were absolutely HORRIBLE….full of fat and gristle. We have never in my 75 years had a WORSE STEAK! Yes, we summoned the manager, he gave us 50% off our wine. However, he should have given us our crappy steak for free! I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog!!! It will be a long time before we go back to this restaurant and spend over $400 for a substandard meal for the four of us. We are so disappointed.
