We were sitting for over 15 min on the patio and nobody came to take our order. Two servers were constantly going in and out, but apparently we were invisible to them. Terrible customer service.
Their ceviche is out of this world
And they're freaking margaritas are amazing

What a great find during our visit to the University of Arizona! After touring the beautiful campus (and I highly recommend checking out the tree ring lab if you haven’t already), we took a stroll through downtown Tucson before heading back to our hotel. After browsing a few shops, we were ready for a bite, and we’re so glad we stumbled upon Agave House.
This isn’t your typical Mexican food. It’s a step up, with unique flavors and an upscale twist that made it stand out. We sat at a bar-style table on the outdoor patio, which was the perfect spot for people-watching while enjoying our meal. The food was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making for a great overall experience.
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend making a stop at Agave House. You won’t be disappointed!
Outdoor seating is nice, good friendly service. The steak chimichurri is our favorite, delicious, along with our drinks. Thank you.
Authentic and tasty Sonoran food, a great drink menu and the largest Mezcal list I've seen in Tucson.
The dish is a stacked, 3-layer chicken, green chili enchilada. It’s supposed to be spicy. It’s not. I like the baked cheese on top, but no sauce, very dry.
The guacamole is $12, very small serving. OK, but nothing special.
Every salsa has a few. I chose the most spicy. Not spicy at all.
The “strawberry margarita” is a basic base w/ strawberry flavor.
This is better for ambiance, directly across the street from U of A, so kinda nice for people watching.
I truly enjoyed this place. As someone from Mexico who is quite particular about Mexican cuisine, I was very impressed by the quality of the food. Our server provided excellent service—I unfortunately forgot his name, but he was the gentleman with red hair.
The service is sooooo bad and the wait time not any better
Great food and place to hang out

I visited Agave House as a site visit for an event. I sat at the bar and ordered Quesabirra Combo and Barrio Hipsterville (Hazy IPA). The food was amazing—the quesabirra tacos were flavorful, as were the Arros and Charro Beans. The braising jus was added even more flavor! I also had Agave House Margarita and the Jardin, and they were refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The bartender and servers were all friendly and attentive. The ambience was also nice. I will definitely be coming back!

Food was okay, service was nice and fast.
We ordered the guacamole appetizer, green+red Enchiladas, and tres leches.
Guacamole: chips are too thick, guac itself I would prefer less onion+jalepeno but was still tasty. A bit pricey for what you get (almost as much as a main entree).
Enchiladas: nice layer of cheese and decent size. Comes with rice and beans on the side which were just okay.
Red sauce: tastes like nutmeg or something in the sauce, which I don't like
Green sauce: really great salsa-like flavor so I enjoyed this
Tres Leches: tasted like moist raisin sponge cake and I did not like this at all
