Convenient that it’s inside Whole Foods. The coffee isn’t the best in my opinion but definitely not bad.

Prices are a bit excessive. Hence only elderly and people who have money go here. It's a very nice layout but the prices don't hold up enough to make me want to go back. There's a walmart just down the road which is more reasonable with the prices. Otherwise the employees are very sweet and I did find the environment to be very clean.

Best coffee in Tucson and amazing staff!

Boom boom in the tap room at the Whole Foods in Oro Valley, Tucson Arizona. Where are you going to find a better organic 100% grass-fed burger with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and pickled onions to go with a local Santan IPA and some french fries? Busy packed bar around happy hour! Lots of good brews on tap! Big screens for the sports enthusiast!

Actually, I put all three Whole Foods in Tucson in the same basket. Anyone who has been to other WF stores should no better. There are very few employees especially in the charcuterie that are not pinheads. Example: In all the stores when I have asked them that my Diestel turkey have the skin trimmed of fat, many look at me like I'm the only person that has ever asked for this request. It's like I'm from another planet. I was recently at the one on River/Craycroft and was fortunate to have met Marianne L. As she handled my request l was a bit in shock. She handled as a no-brainer. At this point, I didn't know who she was and complimented her. She knew how to remove the fat, slicing and layering the meat neatly. Many of the people working slop it in. Marianne L. then told me she is the charcuterie trainer and that they are all trained to de-fat (is there such a word?), slice and layer the meats the proper way. And mentioned that many are pinheads and whatever training is given they just don't listen or lazy or both. I've told too many not to use their hands to rid of the fat. Some have even first sliced and then, by hand go through each slice one at a time. So, I asked why these people aren't dismissed. She responded by saying the only way these employees will be fired is when customers complain to the Store Manager. If you say something often enough that's when get cut. The overall selections are weak especially in the meat/fish dept. In Los Angeles, most stores have freshly ground organic white/dark chicken/turkey and lamb in showcase. Here, I have to buy 1 lb. of packaged products. I'm one person and that's too much to buy. I've learned over the years that freezing meat, chicken, etc, then defrosting it just doesn't taste the same. When buying the 365 organic house brand ice cream (which is very good btw) I can only purchase pints at $3.99, when I lived in Los Angeles they often sold out of the quart size at $4.99! Why don't they carry the option, there is space. At Trader Joe's I can buy all the quart size of their organic mint chocolate chip all the time. In addition, I like Jarlsberg cheese. I was told by both the N. Oracle and River/Craycroft locations that Whole Foods no longer carry it in bulk. Liars! The Speedway location, my least liked store, has the big 10 lb. block of it in the case in the display. The hot bars often look tired and unappetizing, some of the food hasn't been completely cooked like their buffalo chicken wings and other selections are weak. Really bad! I've complained to customer service about the under cooked issue and they automatically give me my money back. There are times I have to all three because not every store carries the same items. That just plain sucks. There's more, but on the positive side their best departments are the produce, canned goods, customer service, checkout and frozen item ones. Bottom line folks, if you don't say anything and just follow like sheep as I have seen and you know some of these employees don't give a damn, that's on you for not speaking up. One last item, if you buy predominantly organic fruits and veggies like myself there are less expensive options out there.

The service here is very bad!! Every once in a while you'll get a nice cashier but the employees that work in the deli, cheese department and stock the store are not friendly nor eager to help customers. The meat department has also gone down hill. For the price you pay at this place, brown meat should never be something you find in their selection. If you live in Oro Valley, it's worth it to drive an extra 10 minutes and go to AJ's. AJ's has wonderful service, better pricing and the meat/ produce section is amazing! Good thing Amazon bought Whole Foods or they wouldn't have been around. Too bad their service is a reflection of the buy out.

This restaurant is a nice place to meet friends and nice a nice lunch. The menu has a very good selection using local produce to incorporate into their menu. They also have a brunch menu for Saturday and Sunday.. Seating is very good having both tables for 4 or r and booth. There is a bar area on one end of the restaurant . I would suggest reservations especially in the evening and weekends.

This review is specifically related to WFM pre-roasted chicken. We generally purchase Costco roasted chickens (which are consistently excellent) but today I decided to try Whole Foods roasted chicken. Big disappointment. NO flavor at all and the chicken was overcooked...both the chicken legs and the breast meat was dried out. To salvage this purchase I'll have to make soup or chicken salad. Will never purchase another pre-roasted chicken @ WF again.

We LOVE the bakery and visit Whole Foods often - very often. We are usually helped by Christine, who is familiar with all the luscious goodies under the case. She is a wealth of information and very friendly, always greeting us with a beautiful smile. This is definitely our favorite bakery in Tucson!

I used to shop at Whole Foods regularly, but now I'm more price conscious and they're more expensive. They no longer discount the salad and hot bars one day a week. They give discounts to Amazon Prime members, and I'm not one. However, they do have a good gelato parlor inside the store. They don't have many flavors, but it's good stuff. There is also decent food at the bar. Frankly, it's better as a restaurant at this point than as a grocery store.

Prepared foods are really yummy and the local bread choices especially the spelt loaf! Also like that they have a peanut butter grinder. Use it all the time. Great olive bar and cheese bar too! I try to stay away from the baked goods but like that they have bite size choices.

I just experienced the worst service experience at Whole Foods! I normally go to the Whole Foods on River/Craycroft and I get exceptional service so of course I expected the same thing at this store. I WAS WRONG! I stopped to but a few items after a great workout so was feeling amazing. I arrived shortly after 7, picked up my items and then went to the cashier line. It was very long and so I asked the cashier (name begins with a S) if she could call another person. She abruptly said there are no others and said I could go to the coffee shop which wasn't a good solution since I had a cart full of groceries! So I waited and waited and waited. When I got to the check out I told her I'm used to better service at Whole Foods. She just said the next cashier comes at 8. No apology, no empathy, nothing. She rang up my merchandise and handed me my receipt without a thank you. Nothing! It is apparent to me that all Whole Foods are not committed to exceptional service. I love the way I'm treated at the River/Craycroft location and so will go there and will not return to this location. I love the Whole Foods on River and Craycroft so much that I decided to give the Oracle store another try. I'm happy to update my review as the service was much better. I'm hoping they continue to bring the service levels up to the River/Craycroft standards and then I will frequent this store more.!

I generally like this market but today the deli case was 3/4 empty and the only tuna salad they had was made with cranberries? Sorry but Yuck.
