I stopped in since I was dropping off a U-Haul next door. The building is unassuming so I wasn't expecting much; however, their doughnuts were incredible and their breakfast dumplings were to die for! Those breakfast dumplings were packed with eggs, bacon, and melty cheese all in a soft, buttery bun. Wish I lived closer -- I'd be there every morning!

Everything was delicious!! I got the breakfast sandwich, kolache’s and donuts. The bread for the sandwich and kolaches was amazing you can tell it’s freshly made! The blueberry crumb donut was amazing as well!

Literally the best donuts in the world. At first glance there is nothing special about these donuts. They don’t try to be different or special. What makes them the best is the QUALITY! The powdered donut with the red filling will change your life, take you out of depression, and reignite your lust for life. I’m not kidding.
I still think this is one of the best donut shops in town. Warm, friendly service is the norm here. Whenever I have the grandkids with me they always seem to play along helping keep the magic alive of a child picking out the perfect donut. They say you can taste quality and I've always appreciated the clean taste of Alvernon donuts. Visit with confidence.

Came for the cake/old fashioned donuts, and they even had plain - my favorite. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of unique savory items, including kolache with sausage, bacon wrapped cheese jalapeños, and egg, meat & cheese buns.

Traveling thru Tucson and desperately needed a donut fix. Stopped by ADS, was greeted with a wave and a smile and the donuts were outstanding! Glazed melt in your mouth and the fritters have the perfect amount of crunch on the edges. Will definitely return before we move on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Alvernon Donuts! The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and understand the meaning of good customer service. It is so refreshing to see that nowadays. They have a wide selection of fresh donuts as should be expected from a donut shop, but I’ve been disappointed at another younger shop. My favorite was their kolache and ham and cheese croissant. If you visit you also must try their broaster chicken. It is by far the best fried chicken in town. So if you’re in the mood for a sweet or savory snack, or the best fried chicken, or just want to see a smiling face; then you must stop and visit Alvernon Donuts.
