Amy’s has some of the best donuts in Tucson and are definitely the most unique. If you are in the area it is definitely worth trying.

These are honestly the best donuts I have ever had and I travel quite a bit and I have tried many different donuts from many different places and as I said these are by far the best donuts that I have ever had. I highly recommend the Boston cream or I believe they call it Bavarian cream here, they feel their donuts on demand right in front of you so it is as fresh as it gets and they do not skimp on the filling which is my favorite part and has always been my complaint, but not with this place that's exactly what I have been looking for my whole life!!!❤️❤️❤️ I love this place and I have only just heard of it and I have only been there myself once but I've had the donuts a few times which led me to having to go and see the place for myself. I'm glad I did and I look forward to many more visits in the future!!!! Also whoever Amy is good job! Lol you have my approval!!! 😂😂😂🥰❤️❤️❤️

Kid-friendliness: Yes definitely a kid friendly atmosphere when I went today it was just two females working there a young girl probably high school age and another one probably in her late 40s early 50s both were very friendly and comfortable enough to chat with us and with other customers. Very friendly and accommodating I would highly suggest stopping in if you are in the area and want a donut or a quick snack or something sweet also apparently they serve coffee and drinks but I did not get a beverage I was too focused on stuffing my face with their Boston cream donut.

Wheelchair accessibility: I wasn't completely paying attention but as far as I know it was wheelchair accessible even if it was not the curb couldn't have been more than an inch high and I'm sure if you asked someone would hold the doors open for you to make it easier to get inside.

It speaks volumes to the crime rate when a donut shop of all places needs a security guard. What a shame Tucson has become. This place has a wide selection of high quality donuts. The service is very good.

Don’t buy donuts here! My man and I were looking for good donuts in town and I searched a few places and I saw this place so we decided to go. We walk in and I start looking at the donuts and all I see is a bunch of gross flies on the donuts. We literally walked out and didn’t buy anything. What a bummer!!!

When I was a kid in the Midwest, our local bakery made "long John" donuts. They were long, flat donuts with white, fluffy cream (I think it's called pastry cream) inside and chocolate frosting on top. They were AMAZING. Light and fluffy and just plain old delicious. Since moving out west 40 years ago, I've been searching for the same kind of donut, but everyone out here uses Bavarian cream, not white pastry cream. (Yuck. So slimy.)
Amy's Donuts has these EXACT donuts!!! The only difference is that Amy's are even better. She doesn't skimp on the filling, and the chocolate frosting isn't waxy at all.
All of her other "traditional" donuts are phenomenal too. I'm not a big fan of all the kitchy varieties, with candy/cookies on top myself, but my kids adore them and it's fun to window-shop them. There are tons to explore!
Anyway, if you're from the Midwest, and have been looking for a donut like the ones you grew up with, try Amy's. The lady knows her way around a donut.

Kid-friendliness: My kids FLIP OUT when I suggest a trip to Amy's. So bright and colorful, smells so good, so many creative, fun donuts to choose from, and the staff is very patient and friendly. Good times!
