Welcoming staff and a classic hole in the wall experience you can't miss out on. Food was great; I got the gyro and fries. Fries are nice and crispy with that fluffy inside. I had wished they were seasoned but they still were good. The gyro was good as well, lots of meat and had nice flavor. If youre driving by you should give Angelos some business.
Wife had raved about this place, we stopped in and ordered a calzone to take home. Also ordered a gyro and fries, which we split. I would say it's in the top 3 gyros in Tucson from my experience. Will definitely go back.
I've picked up a calzone from here before (they're huge, will feed 2+ people, and very tasty!) but this was the first time trying the gyro. My s.o. loves them, so we ordered one with fries. They offered to split it so we could each have half, so we opted for that. Let me tell you... one order fed two people very well for lunch!
