Great place for breakfast. Nice views of the mountains. Friendly service. The eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. And they had blackberry preserves.

We went here for dinner and it simply wasn't very good. I had the tuna and by the time it got to the table the entire dish was cold, it was tasteless, and just wasn't very good. Others at the table had the stuff shrimp and while it was a bit warmer than the tuna it wasn't hot. Service was exceptionally slow, they seemed very under staffed. Definitely would not go back

Mediocre hotel food, and that's being generous. The Bloody Marys were good and after a couple the pedestrian food can be ignored. We dined here twice and only did so because we were staying at the hotel.

Holy this place sucked. Everything on the menu was horrid. Deviled eggs on the menu? Jesus. $20 for a chicken sandwich that was over fried and the tacos were literally the wrong meat. Service wasn't great but they were completely understaffed. Management clearly is incompetent and the menu was crazy bad(stupidest flavor combinations)

Service here was good albeit a little bit slow. We stopped by for breakfast. Portions were way too much. My wife got the avocado toast and was only able to finish half of it. I got the short rib hash and it was almost all meat. In fact I couldn't tell if there was any potatoes in it. Not sure how you can call that a hash. Should just call it a pile of shredded beef. The place does have an amazing view of the pool and mountains. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here though. It's more of a convenience place to eat if you're staying at the resort.

Not even 1 star really. WORST Valentines dinner ever. We waited over an hour for water and bread, then we gave up because we didn't even get bread. Any good reviews on Open Table or otherwise is the manager or employees because truth tellers know... This place SUCKS!

We booked for Valentine’s Day in the restaurant in advance but since they over booked themselves they automatically canceled our reservation without notice. We ended up eating in the lounge area but were disappointed by the experience. We won’t go back.

Booked a reservation on their website for Valentines only to find out that they did not get the reservation even though a confirmation message was sent out to me. Good way to ruin Valentines for

This place is a joke. Service was absolute terrible waited 40min for a drink. Food showed up an hour after that. Still paid $100 for some cold ribs, fries and the shrimp got my fiancé sick. Never again. Plus construction was going on so during dinner you can hear scissor lifts reversing. How did pathetic. Gordon Ramsey needs to visit this place for kitchen nightmares. lol

Unbelievably disappointed! Reserved table well in advance for Valentines and our anniversary celebration. We arrived early and sat quickly but that is where the good service stopped. We sat and waited and waited and waited. We received water and three bread pieces from a busser and that was it. As we waited the area we were seated more and more people became vocal and frustrated. The table next to us waited over 2 hours only to be served cold raviolis and they had sent the first round back already. As we got up to leave we finally were approached by our now server and asked if we would like a drink. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! This may be up towards the top of my disappointment when eating out. My recommendation NEVER visit this place or expect them to provide any service remotely near what you should get at a place like this. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration go to Hacienda del Sol. Hacienda del Sol saved my anniversary night!

Valentine's Day Massacre must have happened in the kitchen, Arrived at 8P for our reservation and waited 10 mins for table. My wife asked if we were early. Waiter finally came to the table 10 mins later. No water in our glasses until 8:30. The waiter asked for the order right away, so we felt like things were moving. A lot of confusion about what wine was available. 5-10 minute waits to check the storage. We finally got some mixed drinks at 8:45. We left some cash on the table for the drinks and walked out after 9. Please just close the restaurant until you have proper staffing. Luckily we found somewhere to get a nice pub meal after 9:30. Happy Valentine's Day!

We booked this for guests from out of state to join us for Valentine's Day. I was embarrassed with the food quality. It took 45 min to get our salad and soups. Food was more like banquet quality rather than the $65/plate we paid for it. Our waiter was excellent. The ambience for the meal was ruined when a couple from a nearby table was furious and vocal with the management.

I was very disappointed with Azul. Being associated with a nice resort, I was expecting a beautiful environment, great service and outstanding food. Instead, the environment was cold and a bit shabby (they couldn't even be bothered to put a candle on the table), service was rushed and inattentive, and the food was average, at best. Then, for a party of two, they automatically charged a 20 percent “large party” service fee.

What a disaster! I had booked weeks in advance for my anniversary. I wanted to surprise my wife as we had never been and wanted to try it out. I made the reservation, confirmed and all seemed in good standing. We arrived 5 minutes before our time and were seated quickly. It was a unique set up and felt as if you were in the lower part of the main lobby. As we were seated we were told the waitress would be right over. The busser delivered us water and some bread for the wait. As we waited we heard numerous tables vocally expressing frustration with the poor service. We continued to wait up until almost an hour had passed and not even our drink orders had been taken! The table next to us received their food only to find out after 2 hours of waiting their food was cold. My wife was disappointed and I was let down. Luckily we were able to get squeezed in at another restaurant near by. This place was a nightmare and the fact this was the standard they set for Valentine's night, as well as a special request for my anniversary, well in advance, was beyond a let down. As we left I asked about speaking to a manager, to which I was told Giselle or Alejandro were on site but we would need to wait. ARE YOU KIDDING? So after 1 hour and 15 minutes we left with a sour taste in our mouths. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO VISIT! If you are looking for a special night out this is NOT the place. You would be better off at McDonalds. Hacienda del Sol down the street was a life saver!

First restaurant is in middle of lobby downstairs. Beautiful music playing in background- real person. 1 player. Very drafty and cold kept jackets on whole time. Valentine's Day- so only 2 entree options. Was not really busy when we got there but middle of dinner hour. My friend got Cesar salad was made with brown old ice berg lettuce, had, tomatoes, Kmata olives ; croutons, green tomatoes - not a traditional Caesar for sure.... Tomato basil soup (grilled cheese croutons not good- enough said) was good but came out 30 minutes after everyone had their salads which took 30 minutes. Yes one hour- just for our starter. Then about 45 mins entrees came out.... I had mushroom ravioli- which was decent- sauce tasted like a basic out of the jar sauce over mushroom ravioli- then they added like a bunch of chunky stuff that didn't honestly go & woulda been better without. Steak dinner was cooked to order, came with two shrimp but was told they were serve between Luke warm and cold.... Really we waited 45 mins for cold food. Lastly dessert came out- very chocolate - ultimate chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce- sounds tasty.... It was a store bought cake with a raspberry sauce on the plate in a pretty design— like there was enough to make a small squiggle. Or a red velvet cake with Swiss chocolate- not sure where that was.....overall disappointed with food. Price was predetermined $65 and probably a more appropriate price woulda been $40 brown am salad, Small small steak, sm twice baked potato, and sm dessert. waiter wasn't very attentive nice but salad/soup bowls sat on table until dessert came out & there just was. No more room. The table runners with bread and butter was only there once waiter problems 3-4 times in 3.5 hours- yes it took that long...&each time we had to flag him down. (Except when it was time for the bill). Then there was an automatic 20%. Now I have no problem w/ tipping well but this service was NoT 20% . Won't be back
