Food is not good… Pasta was precooked then heated in water and sauce added… way overcooked and mushy. The chicken Picatta was bad… chicken was precooked and batter added the reheated.. the coating was slimy .. disgusting… replace it with chicken parm… chicken had a 2inch thick batter on it and then thrown in deep fryer… I think the chicken was precooked as well then coated in batter… pass on this restaurant… it just isn’t good.
Very pleasant staff, excellent cocktails and food. The calamari is deliziosi. My friends and I always have a lovely time at Bacio❣️
So good we will definitely be back
My mom and I went here. My mom is Gluten-free. She check the hostess and inform our waitress. My mom ordered Gluten-free pizza. When our food came out it has extra toppings on it that was not ordered and the bottom was burnt to a crisp. She ate 1 slice and checked with the waitress making sure it was Gluten-free crust but it was not. Our waitress was very apologetic. She made an honest mistake. She informed us they would be removing the pizza from our bill and offered to get mom something else. Mom said no she would just eat the toppings. When the bill came they only took 15% and charged her for the extra toppings. We will never be going back. We DO NOT hold anything against our waitress.
Great service ,great server💯💯
Excellent food and service. Will be returning
I recently dined at Bacio Italian restaurant in Tucson and was impressed by the flavorful Porcini Sacchetti with Grilled Salmon. The dish had great potential, though it arrived only partly warm. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, and the menu offers some creative options.
Unfortunately, the service left a bit to be desired. After our meals were brought out by our waitress, Diane, she was largely absent from our table. We had to flag down another staff member just to get water refills. It was disappointing to see our server more focused on chatting and flirting with men at the bar rather than attending to her tables.
Despite the hiccup in service, the food was good enough to earn Bacio a solid 4 stars. I’d consider returning, but I hope for more attentive service next time.
Just very bad Italian food all around. No reason to go here with Anello, Reilly’s, and Caruso’s nearby, and great places on the North side as well.
Got pizza, vodka pasta, and burrata. Worst vodka pasta I’ve had-mushy penne and the sauce just tasted like tomato sauce with milk in it. Like look up a recipe on google if you don’t know how to make it all. I kid, I kid. Very nice waitress though
I heard a good report about the owners of this restaurant who owns a couple of others so I had to try it even though I usually don’t eat in the University area due to so many Tucson restaurants. I forgot they had parking meters so the assistant/manager, Emily even helped me navigate that challenge as a senior person. She gave me the most excellent, classy service in every way that I have had in a long time. I eat out (too) often. The restaurant has nice cloth napkins and flowers that look real on each table. The food is amazing!! I had a grilled shrimp pasta dish. The shrimp had just the right amount of grilled taste while keeping it tender as well as the sauce being so tasty with tiny sliced tomatoes in with the wonderful noodles. There were 2 men cooking I think; one of which was named Chris. They created a great masterpiece with a little deviance to my wishes. I highly recommend Bacio Italian.

Probably the best option in this area for dining. My wife loved the garlic toast with cheese and pepperoni. She wasn’t as thrilled with the chicken marsala. The sauce is closer to an alfredo sauce than a robust marsala sauce.

If blank was a coveted flavor profile, this is the spot. Ordered the chicken marsala. Tasted like textured water. Cesar salad. No flavor. Chicken picata, also water flavored. 10/10 would only recommend this place to someone who is allergic to flavor.
Really tasty truffle fries

I worked there. Open kitchen, service is good for how busy they can get. Food is good and affordable.
Vegetarian options: Most things can get prepped with notice but they are as adaptable as possible with most things that are not premaid.
Dietary restrictions: With communication things can be done and made but outside of gluten free options offered without notice can be limited
Parking: It is on university street almost always traffic when school is in session. Multiple places to Park available and not more than 4-5 min walk if none found closer
Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed, not at the bar seating.
