Love the healthy choices...unfortunately, I have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest location. Please build a store in Sahuarita or Green Valley. We have lots of visitors, schools, two law enforcement agencies, and plenty of medical and fire fighting staff who I'm sure would appreciate a change from the fast food places in the area.
Baggins has a good reputation, but todays experience left much to be desired. I ordered the Prime Baggins, a roast beef sandwich with hirseradish sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion on a fresh sub roll. Also ordered potato salad. Roast beef was well done and had little taste. Horseradish sauce was really just horseradish and it was all at one end of the sandwich instead of spread along the whole roll. Same with the onion. It was all in one area. It also was red onion, which took ovver the taste. So basically, I was eating nice fresh lettuce and tomato with onion on one end and horseradish on the other. No fkavor from the roast beef. Roll was also nice and fresh. Then the potato salad really needs help or shouldnt be offered at all. It looked terrible. It was small cubes of potato covered in some kind of yellow eggy mayo and had spices that didnt complement it, plus black olives. I had two bites and threw the rest away. Sandwich came with a cookie. It was supped to be chocolate chip, but it was very doughy. Definitely under cooked and was like eating raw cookie dough. Service was good and servers were very pleasant. Order cost $12+. There is nothing about todays experience that would bring me back, esp when there are so many competitors serving much better sandwiches for a better price.
I was on line to see what time Baggins closes today with it being Sunday. Website stated it closed at 5:00pm. I arrived at 4:40pm to discover they had closed earlier than 5:00pm. I was craving my unforgettable. Maybe next time!
I work across the street from this establishment which is to say that I order from them about 100 times per year. About 75% of the time they get our orders right, the other 25% it is impossible to speak to a customer service person on the telephone who actually has a customer service mentality. Each time my order was incorrect and I called to notify them so that I could receive my correct item, I was placed on hold indefinitely only to have to call back and ask to not be placed on hold with a response such as, "We have 6 lines of customers going on here, I don't have time to help you" OR "What do you want me to do?" OR "What is your order number. That's what you ordered." There is NEVER an apology, never one drop of "the customer is always right" type of answer. The customer is NEVER right at this establishment. So as long as you can order online and never have to deal with the employees directly, all is well.
Two of us had soup and sandwich at Baggins. The soup was not hot, so we notified the "clerk". She gave us a look as if to say, "not my problem, what do you expect me to do about it:. Nothing was done; not even an offer for a hot replacement bowl
I had never been to this chain before, I'm visiting Tucson on business in the area and I go here daily now for lunch since discovering it. I'm very particular about my sandwich, the bread had to be amazing, and they really hit the mark here. Very fresh! I've had both the Albacore Tuna and Almond sandwich as well as the Tuna salad and I've yet to be disappointed. It does get very busy during the week at lunch rush hour, so get there a little early, like 11:30am or go just after the rush hour. I did order delivery one day during lunch and it took 1.5 hours to come, they said 45 mins. They were VERY apologetic and threw in a handful of cookies and chips on arrival without me asking, nice touch, although I just go in person now as it's close by anyways.
Ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 - High Baggins with Italian White toasted bread and LOTS of onions. What I got was with 12 Grain bread (UGH) not toasted, two small rings of onion sliced and they used frozen tomatoes. 2 - was California BLT that said it came with avocado but the only avocado on the whole sandwich was about 1/2" square, and again with frozen tomatoes. NO seasoning on either sandwich and NO salt or pepper for seasoning.
A little bit if everything. And accommodates any special request. Albuquerque Turkey today and it was great! Make sure you ask for the local hot sauce at the counter too! Every bag get a chocolate chip treat as well.
Long queues as we entered, so a positive sign. Lots of people eating sandwiches there, lots of space inside to sit at. Huge selection of favourites to chose from, as well as them being able to make exactly to request. Would come here again for a quick lunch. Nice touch to give a warm chocolate chip cookie with every sandwich!
if your hungry for soup and a sandwich, you would be hard pressed to find a place better than this, terrific sandwiches, and their soup is the best

Everything is so fresh and nothing beats the smell of baking cookies
Went in for a quick lunch and was impressed by the selection and the quality of food. Everything we ordered was fresh and very good. It was very crowded!
We were stuck at Lazy Days RV with no opportunity for food and someone suggested that we call for delivery from Baggin. The sandwiches were great. A little pricey with delivery fee and charge but worth it. I had a BLT and my friend had a turkey. Both were excellent.
This restaurant was near the hotel where we were staying overnight. My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant, about which we had not heard. The ambience is funky but pleasant (cowboy SW theme). I ordered a gourmet Cobb salad that was excellent. My wife's sandwich and side salad were less so. The prices are reasonable, and the service excellent.
We were staying nearby & walked over & had a delicious lunch. It came in a bag to the table. I had an Asian chicken salad. The greens were crisp & fresh and the chicken was excellent. The dressing was on the side which I like. My husband had a grilled chicken panini which came wth a drink & chips also good.
