Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches

Due to diet restrictions I ordered a separate sandwich for myself from my catered order. I expect the sandwich wrapped in paper & in a bag. What a surprise when I opened the small box to find it decorated as well. You all did a great job! Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches.

Love this place! Their tuna melt is my go to order, along with jalapeño chips and of course the free chocolate chip cookie 🍪 that comes with the order. Wish they would open one in Dallas, TX!

The staff is friendly and food is expensive but okay, but overhearing the way management disrespects their employees is quite a buzz kill. It’s just a sandwich shop, guys. Demeaning and embarrassing your employees in front of customers is so off putting and really says a lot about the company values. Anybody with that attitude towards the people who make them money won’t get business from me. Other local businesses should keep their distance—Tucson values mutual respect for one another.

I visited here and they had those poor employees come out every few minutes to ask me if they could give me a cookie and refill my FULL drink. I can not believe that after they even told management they had just done so, management told them to do it again. Everyone kept looking at the employees weird for having to constantly ask. It is rude to interrupt conversations and studying students. Do better management!!! Let people eat in peace, we can get our own refills or why would there be a machine in the lobby. I will make sure to tell all my clients and friends to avoid this place if they want to eat. But if want to be hounded and harassed about their Full drink and free cookies every few minutes even if there are only a few people in the lobby this is where to go!

$14 sandwich with hardly any meat. The meat was inetable. Seriously, the pastrami there is like gristly chewing gum. Threw it away and I shall never return or recommend. The food there is waaaay over rated and over priced. Friendly staff.

I love Baggin's! I have never been let down here. They have so many options and interesting sandwiches. I have tried many, my go to is the Sundown. Thanksgiving dinner in a bun! Their bread is fresh and so good. Love to get their soups and do not sleep on the sides! Of course there is always room for a cookie!

Definitely not worth the price, great if you like lots of bread and minimal ingredients.

5 stars for the food, but 2 stars for the service. I might have to stop getting food here no matter how good it is, because it just took an HOUR for me to get a sandwich that said it was supposed to be ready in 30 mins and now I can't eat before my meeting. I'm a regular here and it's a joke with my family that Baggin's always takes 40 mins for one sandwich. But an HOUR?! No sandwich is worth that kind of wait. Otherwise, they've gotten my cookie wrong once or twice (and they always run out of big chocolate chip cookies like clockwork) but have never messed up anything huge with the order. Pretty friendly workers, and mediocre eating environment but I usually eat them at home.

Baggins is a Tucson classic. Been around FOREVER. If only their prices were locked in time, like their use of styrofoam?!

I try to make it over there whenever I’m in town. The unforgettable with potato salad and spiced tea is my go-to! The bread sticks to the roof of your mouth and the ingredients are usually fresh. This time the potato salad was pretty darn salty, taking away from the usual tang. Overall this place is a lunch sack staple. I will say though that the prices are INSANE for what you get- half a sandwich, a scoop of salad and a drink~ almost $18 after tax. Also, no bathroom. You have to walk across a parking lot to another restaurant. Awkwardly. I usually eat at a different location. I wouldn’t say this one should be the one you visit. Much better experience elsewhere.

Awesome sliced bread sandwiches in the Old Pueblo, particularly the Sundown!

I go there I get three sandwiches the total is like $42 or something. I hand the cashier a $50 bill, they say sorry we can't accept this I asked why they said they don't accept $50 or higher. I can understand if the change was a lot. But this was only $8 or something. Very unfortunate.

Definitely overpriced. For the amount of money you pay here you can go elsewhere and not still be hungry afterwards. Theres plenty of other sandwich shops that have better prices and bigger portions. That’s what the word “gourmet” gets you though. If that’s your cup of tea, try it out. The food was good.

I love the food but i rated a 1 star because you cannot call in an order anymore. I tried to order last night & Cox cable was having an internet outage in my area so therefore i couldn't order online. Baggins wouldn't take the order over the phone & although i could have gone & ordered in the store i just wanted to pick up some food without sitting & waiting for it. Oh well, the 70$ order for 4 people must not matter to Baggins.I still love their sandwiches.
