This has been our favorite spot for years, however, after 2-3x of the tip amount clearing our credit card for more than we originally left (which was a good tip to begin with) we have written them off. Beware and watch your cleared transactions! Super sad to lose our only spot we frequented but not willing to put up with that BS!

I'm surprised at how good this place is. The food, the beer, the service. It's all great.

Fish and chips were terrible! Fish tasted old and over cooked. Frys were OK but way too salted. Will not order again.

Great spot w/ good food & camaraderie. It’s the customers & a few good barkeeps that keep it going. The GM has no interest in getting it back to the money maker it was in 2019.The Sunday b4 Christmas and it’s closed when at least 30 ppl wanted to go. Sad

I don't normally shop at Whole Foods, but when I do, I make Bar 77 part of my trip. They offer 24 beers on tap with at least at 6 from local breweries. Do you suffer from decision paralysis? No worries, the friendly bar staff encourages you to sample a beer before you commit - try before you buy. It's almost like an unofficial beer flight which has led to a few unplanned purchases during my shopping. Oops. The vegan cauliflower entrees, nachos and tacos, are the highlight of the food menu. It's unfortunate that there have been at least 3 occasions the kitchen has been out of cauliflower. Maybe that speaks of their popularity? The silver lining in that situation is the numerous options in the hot food area within Whole Foods but I'll save that for review for another day...

This is a solid option for a grocery store bar/food option - and heck, even if it WASN'T inside a Whole Foods, it's a pretty good spot! Bar 77 offers a great Happy Hour (4-6 Monday - Friday) as well as daily plate specials that include a beer with purchase. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, apps, tacos, and more. I'm a big fan of the buffalo cauliflower app myself (on special during HH), and they carry one of my favorite roses by the glass. There are some tables sitting around the edges but we always choose to park at the bar. Those interested in sports will appreciate the TV's around the bar - and everyone can appreciate the great mountain view out the windows. Very convenient when you want to grab a bite while out shopping, or an easy spot to meet up with a friend or colleague for an affordable bite in the Oracle/Ina area.

Excellent selection of beer and wine polite and quick staff that provide excellent service. Most fabulous idea ever a bar inside of a restaurant, Whole Foods in for the win.

Salt is the season. I usually order the beyond burger and fries. I don't know if the cook is a smoker or not ( my brother over salted during his smoking years) but usually there is enough salt to be gritty on the teeth and, without a rinsing cup, can sometimes induce nausea. I usually prefer to eat food the way the chef seasons it but in this case be sure to order no salt and then season it yourself.

Ok I know it’s a Whole Foods bar but their tap selection is the best in Oro Valley and they go out of their way to feature amazing local beers! Also their vegan food options are awesome

Here's the deal, grocery shopping sucks. We can all think of a thousand things we'd rather be doing on a Sunday afternoon than rolling a cart up and down the isle in search of a certain type of whatever for tomorrow's dinner. BUT, if we could grab a pint and a quick bite before shopping? Ya, that's MUCH better. Lol. Such is Bar77: attached to Whole Foods, this little spot has a great tap setup with cold brews, a good wine list, with a nice menu of small bites and pub eats. My favorite is the Cauliflower Nachos. Their deep fried with fresh pick, jalapeño and a nice crema. Very crisp. But not greasy. I've also had the sweet potato fries here and they are great too. This is great spot for a quick nosh before doing chores!

Good beer selection, food is okay.

Bar 77 is back! The food is great, the hosts are friendly, the beer is cold and prices fair. All around quality and social spacing, that is the only problem limited seating at this time.

This would not be my go-to place for happy hour. The food is much too slow. The kitchen gets backed up. No one was happy with their food. Overcooked and late. I say keep this for a meet-and-greet place for a beer or a glass of wine. This may be Whole Foods which is known for great food they need to change things up close that kitchen. And just have a Prep Station
