Excellent place to eat American-style Mexican snacks, it is a very relaxed place with good music to eat something delicious and have a good time with your family or at meal time after work, highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem, food was authentic and had very good flavor. Tamal's were not over cooked and the meat was well seasoned. Good selection from the salad bar and the orange wedges with a dash of cinnamon was a nice touch.

I stopped in and only had one item which was the chicken tortilla soup. So I can only speak for the soup. When it came, it had fresh avocados, amazing cheese, great taste, black beans, squash and other real food. I was pleased that it was quality food.

OMG. Gracias Adios. The plate came to the table, piping hot and beautiful scene to enchiladas, covered with red sauce and green sauce, shrimp and chicken rice and beans. My first bite was fantastic. All the flavors came alive. I added some habanero though made it even more spicier this place is for the real Mexican Spicy and fantastic tortilla soup authentic just like my Nana / grandmother made love this place. You gotta try it out let me know Post very nice staff.

Overpriced tiny portions of mediocre at best chow. We got chicken and shrimp tacos, very basic n meh.
Do not recommend, stay away from all things Charro!

Love this place! Great food and amazing salsa bar! I crave their avocado lime salsa so often. They also have a new salsa that they switch out every time I’ve gone so you have always have something new to look forward to. The chips are definitely worth getting as well. They are two kinds of chips, flour tortilla chips and blue corn chips, salted generously(but never too much). They come out warm too! For entrees, I love their breakfast tamales, as well as their breakfast burritos. They also have delicious pork adobado tacos and you can get cheese melted on the tortilla which is so so tasty with the adobado marinade. Their chimichangas have beans and rice inside, which I don’t prefer but they are still really good because they balance the flavors well. They have my favorite refried beans in the area that I’ve tried so far. I just wish they would give you more because they’re so good.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian/vegan option for the “recipe”. You can get tacos, a burrito, a bowl, a chimichanga and more. They also have a green chili potato crispy taco dish.
Parking: On the side of a plaza so slightly limited parking but I’ve always been able to find a close spot.

Tonight was a Meet & Greet with UA Women's Basketball players and coaches at Charro Chico... And like games at McKale, this was a near-capacity crowd! The food was beyond delicious. While Charo Chico staffers Jasmine, Ami, and Tibi managed the flow with precision and professionalism...almost like Adia Barnes was courtside running plays. KUDOs to all for a fun and fulfilling evening!

Chirros fries is the nastiess thing ever. I should have known, but needed some rescue sugar in me lol... just by the small example, I can get a good idea of what this so called restaurant has to offer...🤮🤮🤮

For the price you pay it’s not worth it, payed 20 dollars for a burrito and a drink, besides that the menu is extremely confusing and when I asked the very nice lady at the counter for explanations she was very nice and friendly but she did not answer what I was asking, the atmosphere is nice but I almost got lost on the way to the bathroom, the men’s room sign was on a closet hahaha , overall not that disappointed just for the price I expected a lot more. I got the chimichanga and it was okay.

Went to go eat at 7pm on a friday, both the website and the restaurant door say they close at 8pm. Some girl was packing up the chairs and as I walked up to the door I asked “are you still open?” She responded “we closed.” I was like “but I thought you close at 8?” and she responded “we closed early” with a nasty smirk on her face, no apology or explanation whatsoever, and walked away from us. Will never go back
