Busy place on a Saturday night!! But quality was still there. We did a take out order and it was fresh and piping hot! We love this place as it accommodates all our dietary needs including vegan cheese option.

Food was great. It tasted exactly like the other locations in Scottsdale and California, so the quality, standards and consistency are top notch. Staff was also great. Friendly and smiling. It was also the first time I have ever had a server preemptively ask if there was any allergies to be aware of. Thank you for this! We have never eaten at a place with this amount of confidence because the staff actually cared and asked beforehand. Again, a thousand thank you's for taking the time to ask this question. Definitely will return.

Paid $36.00 for a pizza and six wings from doordash. Disgusting and greasy, lesson learned. Never again.

Adjusted due to Barros making it right. Guess it was just a one off day. Best customer service in the game.

I am a recent transplant from San Diego and have been looking for a decent pizzeria that is not the typical crap from Dominoes, Pizza Hut, etc.

We have eaten here a few times in the past seven months. The interior decor is pretty lame with huge flat screen televisions on all the walls playing different sports games. I find it not very inviting for that reason. Many times the tables had not been wiped down as well.

The pizza is flavorful, with good cheese and sauce, but for my taste the crust is WAY too thick and takes up too much of the pizza. I prefer a New York style crust so we ask for the thin crust when we go.

My last experience (any maybe very well my LAST experience) was a take-out order placed on January 1, 2026. My mom and I had ordered and paid for it online through their website. When I went to pick it up the surly young gal at the counter asked for the last four numbers of the card used to pay. In my 40+ years of ordering food to go I have NEVER been asked for that information. When I explained I did not have that since my mom paid for it, she refused to give me our pizza, and basically held it ransom.

We had even ordered a take-out less than three months prior and they never asked for that info. I guess it is a new corporate request and I must say it is a stupid idea. Since I also didn't have my phone with me I had her call my mom's phone so she could verify the numbers verbally and release our now-getting-cold-pizza from the jail it was in.

Long story short, my mom didn't answer her phone (who answers unrecognized numbers anymore?) and so I asked to speak to a manager who then proceeded to say they could verify with the address on file as a secondary means. Why was I not offered that solution to begin with when it became clear I did not have the card with me? This was such an annoyance that I have NEVER experienced when picking up food to go, that I do not think we will give them our business again.

When I first went to the counter I told the girl my name when asked, and confirmed the order, and that should be all they need to give someone a pizza that has been paid for. Management needs to reconsider this new thing of theirs and come up with something else. Too bad there just aren't many good pizza joints in this food desert I now find myself living in. Bye-bye Barro's!

P.S. I miss you so much Bronx Pizza...

Kudos to Barro's Pizza for using real reusable silverware and plates rather than single-use items. I also want to say a great big thank you for offering the thick crust gluten-free pizza. It is amazing!!! The thick crust is not that crappy Udos crust everyone else uses. On top of all that, the food is fantastic. The perfect sauce and cheese! The atmosphere is definitely family friendly and has an overall positive happy vibe!

It makes no difference what your food is like if it is arctic frigid with the AC on when it is 50 degrees outside.🥶🤬

It’s wonderful to have this option on the East side where there isn’t much to choose from for restaurants with vegan choices. Everyone in our family, including the kids, love this pizza. My non-vegan parents and other family members also like it. The price is very reasonable and they’ve never got my order wrong. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-06

27$ for two large one item pizzas is a good deal when compared to the quality of pizza
