Gonna rate 5 stars simply because of the brisket which is world class. It's 10 star brisket. However I must be honest about the rest of the food we got. The pulled pork was good but had some peculiar taste, not bad, just different. The chicken was good but not spectacular like the brisket. I will try the ribs next, if they're half as good as the brisket then it's on. The sides. Tater salad has so much dill it's actually green. Back off the dill. Beans are good, but also have some peculiar taste I can't identify, and it ain't doing them any favor. Normally I can eat beans for days, but I only ate a few bites and discarded the rest. Mac and cheese, way way way better than it looks. It kinda looks dry and bland, but it's cheesy and very very very good. Back to the brisket, this place can survive solely on that. It really is that good. Friendly people working too. Prices not too bad because the portions are generous. You get what you pay for and more.

Had a great experience at Bashful Bandit BBQ! The manager/owner came out to check on us and was genuinely so kind and welcoming—it really made the visit feel special. The sunflower coleslaw salad was absolutely amazing, a real standout. They also have a pet-friendly patio, which is such a big plus. You can tell they truly care about both their food and their guests. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Best potato salad in town.
Maybe just tiny amount too much celery.
The meats good too.

They have the best mesquite barbecued brisket I have eaten in 50 years. I had dill potato salad that was very fresh and alive. I also had the coleslaw. They give you pickled onions, hallepenois, pickled cucumber slices. Clean, good food. I ate outside 9. A nice sunny Tucson day.

I highly recommend this place. You can watch the giant smokers doing their magic.

Do this place sooner rather than later!

Definitely one of the best current BBQ places in the Tucson area. They call their style Arizona BBQ. I would describe this as heavily influenced by Texas BBQ with an emphasis on letting the meets show through. The rubs are simple and applied judiciously. The sausages and pulled pork feature Arizona chile peppers for seasoning. They offer a selection of sauces in squeeze bottles to add to your plate. Seating is casual with a selection of indoor and outdoor tables. The Bashful Bandit is definitely worth a visit for BBQ.

The staff were wonderful, there's a full bar where you can actually sit at the bar, and there were fun table games outside. But the food was not impressive.

We tried Bashful Bandit for the first time today, it was delicious. I also really appreciated the customer service, the employees were very patient with our kids and helped them pick out a meat they would like (they both thought it was tasty and are picky eaters!)

Was really skeptical about trying this place. I have to say it was definitely worth the stop. Fork tender brisket, and the mole' BBQ sauce OMG amazing!!!

Incredible brisket and green chile pork; Cole slaw and potato salad are delicious, but mac and cheese is meh, velveeta maybe? And why no bread option? About $30/person w drink and tip, so not cheap. And wish I didn’t have to serve and bus myself, esp. at that price, but I guess that’s the usual these days.

The amount of food you get for the price is ridiculous. It was good, but after spending $60 on a meal for 2, we were both still hungry when we left.

Vegetarian options: I was with a vegan friend who was about to order the smoked jack fruit until the guy stuck his hand in it right after having the same hand in the meat.
