first time i came here,..i found out the hard way that they don't accept cash. did a 180 in the doorway and bailed. but it looked ok. so maybe 2 months later, i came back with a card,..same cashier. ran the card, but instead of handing me my reciept right then and there,...she said,.."oh,..ill come and find you while youre eating and give it to you." ---huh?so i head straight for the egg cook guy and theres NOBODY on line,..and theres only 30 minutes before closing. great. i turn around, grab a tray,..and the whole basketball team is now on line, with the whole womens volleyball team behind them. it was like,..8 seconds!! so im just like..this is now officially over. im not waiting forever for 4 eggs *AND* paying 13 bucks to do it!!!! come on. please. i went straight back to the register with my empty tray,..got my money back,..and left!! i would have been on that line for over 2 hours!! for four eggs?? are you kidding?? thats absolutely no bueno. not at all. the place would have closed with me still standing there if i didnt get my money back. the fix for this would be to hire an egg cook that can cook two egg orders,.. simultaneously. theyre not hard to find. honestly??....i found the whole operation from the very first person i interacted with to be much like an amateur, student-run project that started out smooth, but now isnt being supervised adequately/somebody isnt paying attention/things are coming apart/nobody cares. and i guarantee theyll say its because of covid. thats fine,..but,..with this school's budget,..you'd think theyd be all over *any* kind of issue(s) in there. immediately. especially when the public is allowed in to see how things are run. not impressed, wont be back.

Food is yummy and healthy, great buffet style. Good fuel for studying at the library, especially for Midterms and Finals. Great options for carbs, fats, proteins. However, the one-star is due to the lack of customer service - The cashier lady ALWAYS IGNORES me, DOESN'T make friendly conversation, pretends to look away when I exit to avoid saying goodbye, and sometimes creepily stares at me while I ate, but ONLY greets, and says goodbye, makes friendly conversation to the frat guys who eat here.

I'm going to tell you al that these 5 star reviews are wrong. The food is continually OK. Nothing amazing but tolerable up to this point. Today and this week there have been fruit flies everywhere landing on food, no one seems to notice or care on staff.
