Food was very good. The hamburger was well seasoned, the pulled pork was very tasty, coleslaw was fresh, the fries were great, and the mac and cheese was delicious and tasted homemade. However, the service was very slow. We waited a very long time to order, 30+ minutes and the line wasn't even that long. Once we ordered we waited at least 20 minutes to get our food. Maybe it's staff shortages. I'm not sure. At least the food was great!

The food was fantastic. Brisket sandwich, yum. The folks were incredibly sweet there and gave us an extra order of slaw as they were out of pulled pork. The young lady there even spent time telling us about the place and events there. Were treated like we were paying guest on an expensive yacht, first class service.Place to stop when at Old Tucson.

The food was mediocre. It used to be really good bbq.

This restaurant should actually receive a no stars rating. The brisket sandwiches consisted of a bun with a slice of fat and grizzle in between with a slight edge of meat. Just terrible!
Food came out cold ask to speak to the manager an she look right at me an still didn’t talk to me some other person said he could Microwave it and still did not come out hot
Big Jake's is the best food option at Old Tucson. BBQ is excellent. The large smoker just outside the front door is named "big Jake" - if you see the chef or a cook standing there, ask them to open it up and show you what's cooking inside. You will instantly get very hungry.
MESQUITE & HICKORY SMOKED MEATS & CHICKEN!...GREAT EATS
This is one of the better places to have lunch while at Old Tucson. BBQ was just OK, nothing special but convenient.
Very popular. Overpriced for what you get but all touristy places are. Food pretty good.

Great options and prices
The beef brisket sandwich was pricy, but the meat was piled high and it was good tasting!
Granted, we were here for the father's day event, and it was pretty busy but service was fairly slow and would definitely not recommend the vegetarian platter was not good at all. The brisket was pretty good though as was the pulled pork.
