I only come for the caldos(soup) and they never disappoint!
Very rude workers, came into the restaurant for a party of ten. The entire place was empty and i had asked one waitress if we could come the tables so tha the party would fit. I was told yes and moved them accordingly, an older woman came out with a very nasty attitude and just said that we couldn’t do that for safety reasons and didn’t offer a solution. We asked if we could move the tables another direction and she barely acknowledged us and just said yes with again an attitude. So they watched as we shuffled the tables and chairs around by ourselves and didn’t offer to help to only say as soon as we finish another worker with an even worse attitude says we couldn’t move the tables around at all. Horrible communication, customer service skills and zero empathy. Other patrons noticed their bad service.
Excellent tiny little restaurant with pleasant employees and delicious fruit tamales. Only thing keeping it from all 5★ is being cash only

Stopped to get some menudo. It was really good. Fresh and hot. All the fixings to add to it. I recommend this place if you're in Tucson.

I’m always in search of decent birria anything establishments and Birrieria Guadalajara exceeded my expectations with super stellar birria plates w/ yummy beans/cheese/salsa/rice/corn tortillas. Looking forward to trying their quesabirrias, nachos etc! I will repeat and i recommend! *Cash or Zelle only

Very disappointed with my experience here. The portions are tiny for such a high price — I’ve gone to plenty of other places where the bowls are much bigger for the same cost. When I questioned it, I literally watched them reheat food in the microwave while I was waiting. On top of that, they tried to charge me an extra $5 for a small styrofoam cup of just the soup juice.
The sopa de birria looked like it was scraped from the bottom of the pot — hardly any meat, just small bits and pieces floating around. For the price, it’s not worth it. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone.
