I absolutely love the crew at the 1821 E Broadway Blvd Black Rock. Ryan (who my family affectionately calls Benny) runs an incredible store and has a real talent for hiring genuinely great people. It also helps that he makes the BEST coffee!
Every barista here is friendly, easy to chat with, and always makes our visits feel personal while they wrap up our order. Even though we’ve moved away, we still miss our daily coffees from this location—and our kiddos haven’t found a replacement for their favorite Lil Rockers.
A lot of college students work at this store, and we wish each of them the very best as they juggle school and work. We’re cheering for all of you and your futures!

Came in around 645 today (11/27) and the coffee and muffin were really good. But what was really impressive were the two guy baristas working the window. Fast work, effective communication and teamwork was nice to see. Presumably one is some type of manager but if they're not maxed out for their pay rate they should be
