Burritos are so good, the sauce really makes it delicious and the food is always fresh. However, about half the time, there is an eggshell in my burrito.

It was nice to order hamburgers from Blake's Lotaburger bc traditionally it is a NM restaurant. It would be more authentic if they had the tall white man wearing the red, white and blue suit jacket. I was looking for him and I was disappointed. My great great grandmother used to refer to him ... let's eat at the white man with long legs food. I'm craving a hamburger 🍔.
I was shocked to see there are 3 locations in Tucson. Just happy to have a burger from this place. Another benefit that I have seen ... they serve breakfast burrito all day. Shocking but it's all good.
Blake's Lotaburger brings back a lot of memories for me. Eating here with my grandparents as a child and as a teenager I worked at this establishment in NM.
It was truly one of the best burgers to eat but the recipe has changed a ton. Not the same smell and not the same taste but I understand nothing stays the same in this world. Times have changed. Just wanted to say that bc I miss that taste and smell.
The restaurant was clean and we had friendly service. That helps a lot and it matters to me.

Burger was dry and unseasoned. Dining room was empty, so no issues there. Cherry syrup tastes bad (maybe moldy) and Pepsi was flat. Have to go to the counter to get ice. Fries were ok, but not really salted. Pretty low mediocre meal.

Indeed up getting a lota burger new Mexico, it was really good, though the meat itself is lacking flavor otherwise its great. It came out quickly after ordering as well which is always nice.
Update November 23, 2025 Want the best breakfast burrito on a cold November morning? Come to this Blake’s Lotaburger on Speeedway! Make sure you drizzle that salsa on your breakfast burrito!!! It’s spicy but man does it complement the flavor. It reminds me of Hatch, New Mexico. FIVE STARS

Dude Blake's is the best fast food burger in Tucson. I mean you don't go get a 6$ burger and your ambiance at the same place, even if it is the best burger in its weight class in Tucson. I will say this for the service tho, it is chock-full of refreshingly ambivalent teen angst
