Best local bar in Tucson. Bartenders and staff are awesome. A local treasure.

Okay atmosphere, good service, but completely underrated food. How this place only has 4 stars is beyond me. Management, if you’re reading this, as a one-time customer, Megan blew it out of the ballpark. Her service, care, kindness, and attention to her customers is not only noteworthy but worth management’s attention. That doesn’t even mention how delicious and fresh their food was in comparisons to other dive bars in the Arizona valley.

The atmosphere was a little rough for me but it may not be for most people. Multiple older people were on their cell phones with their sound full blast at the bar makes it difficult to hear the games on the TV. This kind lack of consideration is really alienating to your younger crowd, which is extremely distracting trying to watch a game while someone has their phone full blast scrolling TikTok.

Outside of my issues with the environment and atmosphere, which would otherwise match my millennial tastes, this place is worth the stop for the food and service.

If you’re looking for a diamond in the rough, look no further.

The bartender sucked but the customers were nice eye candy.

Looks like a dive bar, but the food was great. Southwest chicken sandwich had plump juicy chicken with mildly hot chiles. Potato salad tasted freshly made. Quesadillas had a nice mix of chicken and cheese in a generous portion.

If you go to Bob Dobb's looking for a gourmet meal, you'll be disappointed. HOWEVER, for what this place is it's a solid choice to hang out, chat, and have some cold beers with friends. The Reuben I got was pretty good and came out really fast. The beer was frosty and affordable. The service staff was friendly and was on top of refills and fresh pitchers when we finished one off. Did I mention the beer was really affordable? Like $12 for a pitcher during happy hour.

First time at Bob Dobbs I’ve been in the area several times, just thought I’d give it a try. Really enjoy these type of bars, especially before noon. No loud blaring music. In an instant I saw Guinness on tap, which was a must! At $7 a pint, well worth it. So much better than across the street at boarderlands for $9 per pint. Don’t care if it’s craft beer. Not worth $9. Started talking to a guy next to me fascinating stories. He had met Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, and a host of others. Had eaten breakfast earlier, but just had to try a couple menu items. Had the onion rings, and soup of the day, tomato bisque. The onion rings were perfectly golden brown, not over or under cooked, and a very good sized order. The soup came with toasted bread with melted cheese. The food was good. The service was excellent. Most enjoyable.

I was @bobdobbs not too long ago and the only bartender that works or owns the bar was being super weird. He looked hungover and was in the worst mood. My brother and I felt super uncomfortable with his vibe, we did not like it at all. He was rude and very unprofessional. He didn't even bring waters out.

Stopped by for quick lunch while driving through Tucson near old stomping grounds. Has not changed much at all. Still great food and good service. We enjoyed our experience defenetly.

I stopped in for lunch and was glad to see that pretty much nothing has changed since at least the late 90s. If it ain't broke...

This little, and it is small, spot is different than most places in Tucson. Very friendly neighborhood vibe. Most people there know each other but they were really friendly with my friend and I. The wings were really good. Get the hot wings. I was warned that they were really spicy but they had just the right amount of heat. Unfortunately, the bacon Mac and cheese wasn't good. The beer was cold and the bartender was super friendly and personable. If I lived in the area, I would go almost every night. Check it out for a different vibe. Oh, two older guys almost fought but they ended up being cool.

Great spot during the day for grown folks to drink and eat. Burgers are some of the best in town. Chili is amazing.

There is nothing more frustrating than sitting at a bar like you’re invisible

New to town and this seemed like a good place from on line reviews

I arrived and ordered a beer which was set in front of me and the bartender walked away

I finally got her attention and was able to ask for a menus which she set in front of me and walked away

Several people at the bar got 100% of the attention and I was never able to order

Paid for the beer after getting the bartenders attention and left

I was looking for a local place since I was new to town

I’ll keep looking

Burgers were so unseasoned it was ridiculous. I ordered a side of Mac and it was definitely Kraft? that’s just terrible. It should say Kraft Mac in the menu. I’ve been 5 years old and I know what Kraft tastes like lmao. The karaoke going on was just as bad. I can tell this is a regulars-only spot because of the way we were looked at upon entry. It took forever to get service and there was definitely roaches moving about the floor. I’d give zero stars if I could.
