Bob Dobb’s Bar & Grill is one of those rare local gems that instantly makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The bartender is top-notch friendly, attentive, and clearly knows her craft, whether you’re ordering a classic drink or just grabbing a cold beer.

The atmosphere is everything you want from a true neighborhood bar: laid-back, welcoming, and full of character. No pretentious vibes, just good people, good drinks, and that authentic Tucson local feel that’s hard to find these days.

If you’re looking for a place with great service, solid drinks, and a genuine community atmosphere, Bob Dobb’s is absolutely worth stopping by. This is the kind of spot you keep coming back to.

Burger was OK. Service fine. Nothing special on a Wednesday night, about4 people in the place.

A good neighborhood dive bar. Most of the customers are regulars. Good bar food and lots of TVs to watch sports.

Was a great atmosphere with great service and of course being a Chicago bar was even more impressive watching the game Bears might have lost but it was definitely well worth it. The wings were so crispy and delicious and like I said before bartender/waitress was amazing. Really was no issue with service or seating it was spot on. Great place to go. It was good to be somewhere where nobody was rude or inconsiderate. Everybody said hi and like I said was just a great place to hang out and of course watch the Bears!!

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it definitely was fried. Almost too much. The meat inside was not very tender. Their homemade chips we're okay if a little burnt. The biggest challenge they had is now with the popular restaurants right next door. Friday night was pretty dismal in terms of a crowd. I'm sure there are other times when it's okay, but I was disappointed and won't be returning.

Small, neighborhood place in Tucson. Went in to watch Arizona basketball, only issue was game was streaming and kept buffering. Older crowd, I'd say majority were over 50. Outside patio. Had a club sandwich and fries, good food. Good bartenders and staff.

We came as a group just for drinks so I can’t comment on the food. The bar staff were nice and the beer was cold and great. Ambiance is “college-bar” casual and not aspirational. Great for the guys and some beers, but not where I’d take a date. VictorB

An absolute staple in Tucson. Used to go when a student. Now often stop for lunch when working on the apartments. 5 x Stars for being what they are!

Kind server and decent wings. It was priced alright and the location is very good. But the food just wasn't really memorable. Not great, not bad, just okay. Haven't felt a need to come back.

Okay atmosphere, good service, but completely underrated food. How this place only has 4 stars is beyond me. Management, if you’re reading this, as a one-time customer, Megan blew it out of the ballpark. Her service, care, kindness, and attention to her customers is not only noteworthy but worth management’s attention. That doesn’t even mention how delicious and fresh their food was in comparisons to other dive bars in the Arizona valley.

The atmosphere was a little rough for me but it may not be for most people. Multiple older people were on their cell phones with their sound full blast at the bar makes it difficult to hear the games on the TV. This kind lack of consideration is really alienating to your younger crowd, which is extremely distracting trying to watch a game while someone has their phone full blast scrolling TikTok.

Outside of my issues with the environment and atmosphere, which would otherwise match my millennial tastes, this place is worth the stop for the food and service.

If you’re looking for a diamond in the rough, look no further.

The bartender sucked but the customers were nice eye candy.

Looks like a dive bar, but the food was great. Southwest chicken sandwich had plump juicy chicken with mildly hot chiles. Potato salad tasted freshly made. Quesadillas had a nice mix of chicken and cheese in a generous portion.
