I wanted to like Bob's Steak House, I have lived in Tucson for some time and had wanted to eat there for a while. My expectations were high as the reputation was impressive. The service was adequate, at best. I ordered the lobster bisque at the suggestion of the hostess, and the bisque was ok. Next was a blue cheese salad, which was quite good. The romaine lettuce was fresh and the bleu cheese very nice. My entree was a rib eye steak which was served with a whole glazed carrot and fried potatoes. The presentation was flat, simply the steak and potatoes separated by the carrot (a large, whole carrot!) The steak, prepared medium rare as I ordered was entirely too salty and the potatoes mediocre. Desert was an adequate crème brûlée. Overall I was quite disappointed. At the price point of this restaurant (nearly $220 for dinner for two before tip, no alcohol) I expect outstanding service and food. This was at best adequate. The steak was extremely disappointing due to the enthusiastic preparation with salt. There is far better steak available in Tucson.

This is a very nice place to dine in.. Service is top-notch.. Food is up there, too.. The restaurant itself is gorgeous.. From the latrine to the table, it is very immaculant Bring your appetite bc the plates are big enough to feed 2

This is a place for a quiet dinner romantic or not.. The restaurant itself is very well kept. You can dine inside or outside either way is awesome. The staff were very accommodating and tentative. Bring your appetite as all dishes we ordered were enough to feed 2 easily..

This is so sad I have to take my valuable time to write this. I could go on how bad it was but I'll stick to the main point. The food took forever to get the service was fair at best. My wife's first steak came undercooked ( no big deal but it took forever to get ) manager came over and actually sat down and held my hand and said I'm so sorry. She ordered another steak and this one came out even worse!!! At that point my wife said I'M DONE. The manager said I don't know what's going on with the cook. She paid for the entire meal. How pathetic you have to throw money at a problem. I was willing to spend a lot on my wife's birthday. She did not even get to eat!!! It blows my mind how bad the food came out TWICE and even worse the MANAGER AGREED!!! how is that possible??? How about this Bob's Steak & Chop House----MAKE A CUSTOMER NOT A SALE. Don't throw $$$ at a customer. We were here last night Friday the 16th for simply the worst dining experience we have had. Step up and do better. You are only as strong as your weakest link. FIX THE BACK OF THE HOUSE!!!!! PLEASE
I understand that valentine's day is busy for restaurants, but I was incredibly disappointed with the location of table that we were seated at. We were put in an overflow room which wasn't even part of the actual restaurant. Different lighting, different tables, no music... The food was good, the service was fine, but spending > $250 for a meal is more than just how the food tastes. Ambiance matters, and eating your food in an overflow room isn't really the same experience as eating your food in your actual restaurant. I made the reservation about 3 weeks in advance, so it was really disappointing.

The food was delicious and the portions were big! The service was amazing. They accommodated our birthday event. Can't wait to go back at a time where I can watch the sun set.

Perfectly done, juicy and flavorful steaks. Meals include either a very large baked potato, garlic smashed potatos or a large sweet potato plus a large glazed carrot. Additionally, you receive a large fresh baked crusty bread for the table. Numerous other sides are available for Ala carte. Well done Bob's!

Great atmosphere, even better service, and perfectly seasoned and cooked steaks. This is a great place to enjoy your afternoon by sitting on the patio and relaxing while admiring the sunset. It never disappoints to have dinner here.

Our Jesus was amazing he was attentive and made appetizers that were as good as what we have had at the Bellagio. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with two delicious specialty coffee. We will be back! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.
