My husband and I haven’t been been here in over a year. So we decided to go tonight. Worst experience ever didn’t even stay to eat. Nobody was at the front desk. Then seated us at a dirty table. Sat there for a while and nobody came up to us…we just left. Obviously we didn’t matter to them.
We sat at the bar and the service was great. The truffle parmesan fries were pretty good. The pizza burger could've been better. Not a lot of cheese and the beef was over cooked.
Irritated! Just spent $54 for a burger, salad and appetizer just to drive 30 minutes back home and realize we didn't have our complete order. When I called he said I could come back (again, 30 minute drive) and get the missing side or get a discount on something else if i go back. I asked can't they just discount my card for the price of a side of fries and call it a day? They said no. So I just spent $25 for just a burger? Cool. I guess it's our problem that your staff is not quality checking orders and making sure they're accurate? The pure principle of that mentality alone is enough for me to not go back.
Went in with my family last night after we seen a movie just across the way. We walked in and half the restaurant was closed so we had to sit in the bar area, which on occasion is fine but our table was not cleaned, seats were sticky. The bar area was poorly lit and looked like your typical dive bar. My wife went to bathroom and returned saying she couldn’t go because of the state of the bathroom. Floors unclean, mold rings, no paper towels, etc. They only had one waitress to handle the bar plus the other 9 tables that had people sitting in them so of course it took forever to get our order placed. Lastly the food was gross, over cooked chicken “wings” that my wife ordered. The same chicken wings my daughter received were overcooked and really hard. My grilled chicken was burnt and my sons pasta that he got was flooded with butter and undercooked. Definitely not going back
Used to come here about 4 years ago, food was great and price was reasonable. Got stationed overseas and came back hoping to enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately the place now feels like a dive bar. Restrooms looked neglected (mold rings around sink faucets, backed up urinals, counters stained with calcium, paper towels over flowing trash bins, no toilet paper in stalls, piss on the floor). The dining area didn't fare much better. Lots of trash, floors looked super dirty. Food was very mediocre. Our server was great, hence the two stars.
The quality of the food has gone down since they changed the menu last year lots of things made different from before, I guess, use different ingredients like the Mac and cheese for one, which my wife absolutely loved. Some stuff is still good, like the Italian brute sandwich. Had a green monster fish bowl.
Boston's has the best Burgers! They are grilled to perfection and the beer is always cold! The staff is amazing and always super friendly! The Asian glazed wings are Awesome as well! I've been there several times and have never had bad service or bad food. Definitely recommend you go and try them. I promise you won't regret it!
After moving to the area, this is one of the first restaurants we checked out seeing that we come from Boston originally and the name made us smile. However at the end of it all, what made me smile even more was how delicious the food was! My husband got the boneless wings, and I got fish and chips and they were both amazing! The restaurant is very cozy and nicely decorated for a sports bar, I like that you can actually see into the kitchen. Our only slight negative was that our waitress wasn't super friendly, when my husband started to tell her that we were from Boston she pretty abruptly cut him off saying "yeah well the restaurant isn't actually named after that, it's a Canadian chain" which was a bit unfriendly considering my husband was just trying to make small talk. Oh well, we are still planning on coming back and just hoping we don't get sat in her section again! I really need to try their pizza, they have a white pizza which looks out of this world!
Maybe it was an off night but my 1st and last experience was not good. I went on a Friday night and one would expect wait times to be longer on a busy night. The thing is...they weren't busy at all and it still took 45 minutes to get food to the table. If the food was worth the wait I wouldn't have a complaint...but it was not. I had fish and chips. The fish looked appealing but the taste and texture was that of the frozen fish triangles from a cardboard box. I tried my son's pizza as well and mediocre at best. Not at a budget price either. $19 just for the fish and chips. My advice is spend the same amount of money somewhere else and get better tasting food and better service.
AMAZING SERVICE! It's been a long time since I have been to a restaurant that I wasn't a regular at and the bartender asked my name, remembered my name, and addressed me by name every time we interacted. I really felt like I was a regular. Then there's me, the jackass, that doesn't remember hers. Anyways, I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Tucson.

Food is way overpriced. You can go to a nice restaurant in town and pay similar prices. My pasta was microwaved as portions were hot enough to blister my mouth and others like the chicken were stone cold. Portions are small for the price. Boneless wings were like popcorn chicken. We were told the only seating was in the bar but later saw other people eating in the dining room. We won't be back. Entrees are $15 plus, so listed pricing on Google is wrong.
Paid $31+for large pizza with 3 toppings. However, asked for artichokes and was very skimpy, only on 1/2 the pieGiving this place only 2 stars because my waitress was very good & the place clean. Lighting terrible for reading menu. As far as, taste of pie, I've had much better for 1/2 the price.
It was a Sunday and many of the other local restaurants were busy. We were worried that this one would be to. And it was, but we got a table right away. The waitress was wonderful, she was friendly and attentive. The food was out fast and amazing. The lasagna (lunch portion) was super filling the garlic bread was weird, a bit tuff but good to sop up left over sauce. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked with a lot of fresh toppings. We were so full we didn't have room for dessert. If your looking for great food, fast and friendly service this is it! We will be back.
One of our worst experiences. We ordered chips and queso, and also ordered our meals at the same time . Our chips came out 3 minutes before our meals came out. I ordered the pizza which was good. But my fiance ordered the shrimp and chicken pasta the pasta was room temperature. The bread sticks didn't come out until he was half way through the meal. The bread sticks were just little pieces of bread with provolone cheese melted on top of it. The waitress was not that good at all.
Every time we visit this place (4 times) we have had fabulous service!! Servers and hosts are all friendly and attentive. We always have water right away. While we have had the pizza and pasta I would say the burgers are what stole the show! The MVB was done as requested (medium) and has lots of flavor! The bacon was cooked just right. I added the avocado and it was definitely worth the extra price. The salad was good, basic house salad. The blue cheese dressing was full of flavor. The onion rings were good but a bit mushy on the batter. A great local restaurant with many options!
