As usual, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. The servers were really stretched and we were told by our server that "I'll be right over" three times until she finally came to take our orders. Not her fault that she couldn't get to us, but should be candid about the wait.
We recently relocated to Tucson from Boston and were somewhat skeptical about Italian food in Tucson. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was at Bottega Michelangelo. I had the eggplant Parmesan and my husband had the lasagna. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.
The four of us enjoyed our food. our waiter was not attentive after taking our orders. we had to flag him down every time we needed something. he never checked on us. The lunch menu should offer some pasta dishes. that aren't so creamy. my husband ordered the tortellini and was disappointed because of the very creamy sauce. it was just too rich. I got it with a red sauce and it was so much better. you can request substitutions which I did but the menu really leans too much...
