Impressively bad. Incredibly slow, slow service, and cold food. Yikes.

Have eaten here quite often in the past. Always ordered the brisket (because I don’t know how to make it). This time the brisket was very dry and outside was hard. Didn’t even finish it. Used to be moist. Beans were delicious. Also had a salad, but didn’t like the dressings so I ate it plain. Not sure if I will go back. It is quite a distance from my home. Used to work downtown.

Im sorry, it should be brilliant stars across, I'm just not a BBQ place per say. What I did have? Was excellent. And I'm sure if you are a conousirree of bourbon and smoked meats? This place is most excellent for you to visit.

We stopped here on our way back from Bisbee and Tombstone. Wanted some good BBQ and we were not disappointed! It was amazing! We will be back on our next trip.
Service was great too! Our wait person explained everything to us and made it very easy!! We plan to bring family when they come to visit! We are from northern AZ.

Normally, we had come in over the past 6 years to enjoy the $2 Tuesday deal over a basket or two of fries. It used to be a great way to try their large variety of beers and mingle with a booth full of friends.

Unfortunately, it didn’t come to our attention until far too late that there “has always been” a caveat to this rule: everyone is required to order food for the discount to be applied to their drinks (no sharing food, it seems). This rule had never been the case the past few years, but the manager claimed it always existed and that apparently they had “unknowingly” been “giving away” beers to folks who just wanted drinks for the exact price they had been offering…. for years? The deal has never had any disclaimers, fine print, or otherwise to have suggested this on their website though. It seemed like a dishonest way to undermine their own advertisement to get more money.

I would understand if the deal needed to change or simply go away. Regardless, it was most upsetting that we were not made aware of the new enforcement until AFTER our second round of drinks and just two baskets of fries. By that point we were full on sharing the fries, and I’m not the biggest fan of the food in all honestly. I felt frantic trying to search for the cheapest, smallest item on their menu, only to just sigh in defeat and bite the bullet on the bill.

This will unfortunately be the last time we come in. I suppose we prolonged the inevitable, but I’ll fondly look back at how the place used to be.

Used to regularly come here for $2 Tuesdays. Tonight, the server mentioned $2 Tuesdays to us, we each got a beer, then afterwards our server informed us that the discount only counts for people who buy food. A couple people in our party bought fries to get the discount, then our server told us that the discount is only in effect if everyone at the table bought food. I wouldn't be so upset if the change in policy was communicated before we bought our drinks, but they way it happened just felt underhanded.

Not a lot of reasons to return now that the food has gotten worse and the advertised specials aren't being honored.

Very impressed today at the Mineral Show with the team of people staffing in the food area and quality and taste of the burger.😎

Actually the worst barbecue I’ve ever had. Our entire dinner the band was doing “sound checks” for over 45 minutes and which turned out to be just random loud noises.

We’ve enjoyed visiting Bro John’s 5 different times during our month long visit in Tucson. Nothing but great service from all of our servers, especially Damon! The pulled pork, beans, french fries & the Hot Mess nachos were wonderful but their fried chicken, mashed potatoes & green beans were so good we had them 3 out of 5 times, I forgot to take pictures of the food but believe me they wouldn’t do the food justice. The ambience is fun and the wall of bourbon/whiskey is just as amazing as the 50+ beers on tap.

Food was good, but the service was the worst I've experienced in a long time. I came here on February 1st around 6:30pm to watch the hockey game. The bar was empty, so we took a seat at the bar. The bartender seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than helping us. I had to interrupt her multiple times, and she made it clear she was busy, even complaining about being a full-time student. When people she knew arrived, it was like pulling teeth to get service. Absolutely sucked. As a bartender myself, I understand the challenges, but I'd advise trimming the fat and hiring staff who are actually invested in providing good service. I might return for takeout, but I'll avoid sitting down here again.

Owner seems to discriminate not only against bikers but other groups in Tucson. Do not recommend supporting folks that deliberately exclude members of this community. So many better places to go, kick rocks Brother John's!
