We had Brushfire BBQ cater our recent Christmas Party, and it was horrible. We had got quotes from 5 different companies. We did not go with the cheapest, and we did not go with the most expensive. We had placed our order almost four weeks in advance. On the day of our party, they called to inform us that they were 50 minutes behind. This was a massive issue for us.Once the lady who delivered the food arrived, she stayed in the car. Not to help, not to check items, not to explain anything... She simply drove the food.Once we got the food in and set it up, we discovered it had leaked everywhere. Meat juices were in the coleslaw; the containers were all drenched in juices, sticky and messy, and it took a while to get organized. The chicken was so dried out and overcooked we could not even serve it.We ordered garlic bread and got buttered bread with mostly ends.We ordered an Apple Cobbler and got a pan full of cooked apples with nothing else on them. It was nothing close to Cobbler. There are plenty of excellent BBQ restaurants in Tucson; do yourself a favor and choose one of them.

This is the pathetic attempt at a brisket and pork meal? A few scraps and crumbles of brisket. And the driest pork ever tastes. You should be ashamed of yourself brushfire.... this is 17.00???? Get real. The chicken wings are burnt and bone dry.

Good smoked meats should stand on their own for flavor, before you add any sauce. I bought chicken, brisket and pulled pork, but none of them had a good, smoky taste. I was disappointed.

For 38 dollars We got the blazing combo meal. 2 choices of meat corn bread and baked potato. Now the meat was all cold, the tablespoon of brisket was not even close to enough, the potato was very small and super salty. Ordered extra meat (chicken) that was dry. And lastly the garlic bread was stale and cold. 2nd time having brushfire and extremely disappointed this time around. Very sad. Last time we eat here.

My family has been getting food from here for about 6 months! I kept buying the same dish, Everytime, messy fries with Mac n cheese because it's so delicious!!! So, today I decided to try several sides because I just couldn't NOT get my messy fries (yum)! I tried homemade deviled egg potato salad, baked beans, vinegar Cole slaw and the cornbread! I loved everything and I'm a snob when it comes to those items (mom's was always the best), but they were so scrumptious. Thank you to the awesome crew there. The foods worth the parking headache!

On the picture that I uploaded, to some of y’all, you might find it ydeceiving because of how I took it? But no. Let me tell you now, NO. Take time to read this please! It’s my very first food review of the year soooo bare with me.My fiancée is away so he decided to treat me dinner through UberEats. I was craving BBQ and I just barely moved here to Tucson, Arizona. I was searching through Ubereats for a nearby BBQ place because I was famished.I requested to the restaurant to char grill the pork just because I have preferences and to give me a bbq sauce on the side.As I got the food, I went straight potato salad. I didn’t bother smelling it first so I dug right in! It was the most sour potato salad that I haven ever tasted, I smelled it and it smelled spoiled. Legit spoily smell. The mac and cheese was not good either, it was dry and it wasn’t as cheesy. Last but not the least the meat. THEY WERE DRY. The pulled pork tasted old, like they just microwaved it real quick. They were in a hurry! That simply means that they hurried my food in low quality ways. I ordered my food around 520pm and it was supposed to be done to serve at 640PM! On their part, they got time to prepare so that it’s fresher, good quality and well prepared. They did the opposite way. It sucks because the presentation is not mannerly attractive. It wasn’t appealing.I had threw the food away, after I tried all of them. I will for sure have a massive diarrhea later on.So peeps, save your money and your time scrolling down the menu because their food is horrible here!P.S. Whoever was preparing my order, please get them re-evaluated. Train that person more. The utensils that you have has so much dusts and a hair in it that it flew away as i was trying to take a pic of it.

If you like dry brisket, this place is for you. I specifically asked for moist brisket, they said they couldn't guarantee it, but would note my order and the cooks would do their best. I think they went out of their way to find the least moist meat they could find. Well, if this was their best, its a shame. The potato salad had more onions than potatoes. The server was helping himself to a soda while my meal had just been sitting there. Not even a free meal would get me to come back. Too many other places to get bbq from here in Tucson, and they all have options for the brisket. (unlike thus place.

The food was excellent! The ribs were delectable and practically fell off the bone. The pulled pork sandwich was really good and the baked beans were my favorite. Service was friendly and cleaned off the table we chose to sit at when we noticed it was dirty before we sat down.

Brushfire is absolute fire! Perfect place for barbeque. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and never been disappointed. I came here again a few days ago after a very stressful event and it was a nice relief to get some delicious food in my belly. I love their brisket in anything I get. The messy fries are a top choice for me but I also love their Mac and cheese. The ice cream and also yummy. Great restaurant. Nice and spacey. Knowledgeable staff and wonderful chef. Do not miss out on this place!

Food was excellent and so was the staff. Recommend the fireballs. Mac n cheese balls with pork breaded and deep fried. In a word amazing! Habanero mango wings were perfect. Nice and crispy outside and juicy inside. Coffee stout dark beer was delicious! Staff was amazing! My friend is allergic to pepper so chef Tia custom made a honey Dijon mustard sauce for her wings. She loved it! Had a great time and the live music was a nice bonus!

I really wanted to like this place, first timer here. As Arizona does not have a lot of BBQ options especially in this area.I ordered a brisket sandwich with the Mac N Cheese.Brisket Sandwich:Bread - The bread choice is a sturdy white bread (like a Subway but slightly better). I believe it was lightly toasted but some butter or garlic would have been nice. For a seemingly flavorless piece of bread you'd think the meat would be the star of the show, right?Brisket - Did not expect it to be chunks/strips but hey no judgement. It was just overcooked, probably reheated as the edges of some of the pieces had that harder texture you get from reheating meats. Was slightly more moist than it looked but not great. I chose their standard BBQ sauce as a baseline and it wasn't bad, just the meat for how underwhelming it was definitely needed more sauce to be objectively passable. It reminded me very much of the school lunch growing up but marginally better and without the frozen taste.Mac n Cheese:This was in-fact not mac n cheese. It was macaroni noodles with pepper with a subflavor or cheese. That's the best way to describe it, genuinely. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't tell my friends about it or order it again. It doesn't even have to be that cheesy I just don't order mac n cheese craving a subflavor of cheese. From the reviews I wanted to try solely on that. The 5 stars are either paid actors or people who have been going there for years and slightly delusional about what real BBQ is. It really wasn't that bad and hits the BBQ fix but I'd rather just not have BBQ if this is what it is.Atmosphere:Dark and BBQ-ish. Little run down, no judgement. Just an observation. The big issue I had was cleanliness. Flys all over the register and table where they package/handle the food. Peeking in the back I wasn't concerned per say but they absolutely could put a little more effort into cleaning.Overall:In summation, I think this place has potential and to segway from my atmosphere review, it would really benefit from a little more effort in the final details. The staff were very friendly and I would go back just for that. But, I would not go back for the food from this experience. $15 was not too bad for BBQ but, that $15 will be missed.PS: my food did not sit before eating, I live close so it was definitely fresh from point of delivery.
