Buendia offers traditional authentic Mexican food. I had the café de olla and the chilaquiles. Just amazing! It’s a cute place to visit. The waitress spread the joy of happiness and kindness it’s a cute table-side gesture.

Kid-friendliness: As soon as you come in the restaurant the staff greets you! They are all very sweet and kind.

Based on strong reviews, we decided to give this place a visit today and we are very glad that we did! The outside is not particularly impressive and one might easily pass it by, but inside is quite different. The place is clean, tidy and very comfortable. The staff is among some of the friendliest that I have ever encountered and our server in particular was very helpful with her suggestions and attentive service to our table. We had and order of the Chilaquiles Divorciados and an order of the Stuffed Poblano. Both dishes were EXCELLENT! This place is definitely one of our favorite breakfast spots anywhere and we will be back during our stay in Tucson.

Came here with my family since we heard it was a great mexican resturant. Had a awful time. The server was bad and ingore me and my family when i called for services like asking for napkins even though we make eye contact, asked and wave at her. She smile and left. The drinks were completely filled with ice that taste like dirty tap water with almost no drinks in it. The foods was cheaply made for the prices they asked. When we gotten our orders, there were extra foods and we had informs them about it since we didnt ordered it, they said it was ok and enjoys it. Thinking it was a ok since they said it was ok to eat it, until they still charges us for their mistakes! Even after everything that happened, i still give a 2 dollars tip to give atleast some respect to the business but instead i was charged 10 dollars more for the tip without my approve! A $78 order became $88 instead. Nothing good had came for eating here, nothing but bad services and thieves if they charges whatever tip they want to your orders! Cant be a lauguage barrier since im mexican aswell, so they cant use that excuse at all. Shameful

Parking: The lot is very small, try to arrive early for breakfast or around lunch when it slows down.

Truly amazing food, and very nice staff/atmosphere! They have great vegetarian options. I don't know how they consistently create such wonderful flavors but it's some of the best food in Tucson. Highly recommend the poblano pepper rajas taco!

I love trying out new places. I don't know what took me so long to check this cute little place out. I love the inside it's so warming, and it reminds me of when I was a kid, the food was delicious 😋 and the coffee was amazing, so yummy are Waitress was very professional. She was gracious and had great customer service. If you haven't checked this place out, I highly recommend it 🥰

Good food and amazing service! This is my second time trying the green & red chilaquiles, loved the green way more than the red. And this apple almond pancake was delicious. I highly recommend the Marzipan Horchata!

Parking: Parking lot is not the best, many potholes and an awkward shaped parking situation.
