I have eaten here before and the food is fabulous but the service in this last visit was horrific! We sat and waited 20 mins before anyone gave us a menu or took outer drink order and that was only because I got up and found someone. We got menus and a drink finally, but then it took forever for someone to come back and get our order. At this point we just left. Other tables were complaint about how long it took to get their food and how the service was just awful. They need a new group of servers there as the food is fabulous! Either way, I won't be returning!

I thought this woman loved me but she just used me and played games with me. She is an employee here and I don't know what to do. I am friends with her son and grew up with him. Can someone please help me? Oh yeah plus the food sucks cause she cooks there. Don't eat 😝😝

Bumsteads is hands down one of the best spots in Tucson! The atmosphere is super laid back and welcoming, with that perfect neighborhood bar feel. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel like a regular whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth.
The food is excellent—sandwiches, wings, and daily specials that never disappoint. They pour strong drinks at great prices, and the beer selection is solid too. It’s the kind of place where you can come in for a casual meal, catch a game, or just relax with friends and feel right at home.
If you’re looking for a true Tucson gem with good vibes, great food, and awesome people, Bumsteads is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This place is eclectic to say the least. Mixture of Vegas and Mardi Gras. Our water glasses came from other restaurants. You get a lot of food for the price and it tasted surprisingly good. Tried the Chicken Fried Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and jalapeño gravy, so good.

I went to Karaoke today. For the most part, it was a nice time. However, there was a friend of the owner that was a drunken belligerent who insulted me, was in everyone's face while they were singing, and walked around the bar like he owned it. The best part of the night was when the drunken man tried to get on top of a flimsy table only to fall. This man was extremely rude. He made me uncomfortable, and probably other patrons as well. I will come back, but if I see that man there again, I will leave. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Food was excellent, great portions for the price, service was fantastic. Good live entertainment.
Only negatives, needs a better DJ, the music was entirely too loud. We were barely able to hear each other sitting further away from the stage. They could use better advertising, had I not been invited there, I would have never known it was there.

Updated Review as of 6/28/25. I love love love Bumsteds. My favorite restaurant in Tucson, I went for my birthday yesterday and the food is always so consistent and amazing! My Mom even enjoyed it when she is SUPER picky, I can't get her to eat ANYWHERE and she loved it. They really made my birthday special with amazing carrot cake and they brought it out and sang too me. I would recommend this place to my best friend and my worst enemy!
