Only negatives, needs a better DJ, the music was entirely too loud. We were barely able to hear each other sitting further away from the stage. They could use better advertising, had I not been invited there, I would have never known it was there.

Updated Review as of 6/28/25. I love love love Bumsteds. My favorite restaurant in Tucson, I went for my birthday yesterday and the food is always so consistent and amazing! My Mom even enjoyed it when she is SUPER picky, I can't get her to eat ANYWHERE and she loved it. They really made my birthday special with amazing carrot cake and they brought it out and sang too me. I would recommend this place to my best friend and my worst enemy!

It's always a great time here. Great drinks, food and service but the atmosphere is out of this world. Such a fun crowd at karaoke every time, without fail. The burlesque brunch is a must see, and trivia is always fun too. A hidden gem for sure.

Great food and service (thanks Carolina!). Directly across from the University Inn which was also a great surprise (look them up :)
Everyone was friendly and eager to make the visit special.
We had the Shmalex bowl and the Gary (again, look them up ;). Both were great and we had to pack up half of it to go!!
Good burgers but weird service and they are stingy with the ketchup.

They dont offer items that are on their menu or online. Server was rude and unprofessional.
I asked for a drink I seen online she gave me the complete opposite. She forgot to give us menus when we first arrived. Then kept asking what we wanted without having menus. Then she realized we didn't have menus and the service got worst. The bartender/ server was rude extremely rude.
I asked her questions about the menu because it doesn't match what's on line, r the menu. She was rude every time. She kept walking off, then returning with more rude comments. Please hire a better sever.

American Diner with unique style and menu. Big sandwiches made on fresh bread or rolls and great cocktails in the bar. I had the Chicken fried meatloaf. It was amazing! You can also have them chicken fry any of there meatloaf sandwiches they sell. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area
