Many choices for vegetarian, the lentils and chick peas were delicious. For meat lovers - chicken, lamb and fish. Choose 1 or 2 or all. We had the Works!

This is an awesome place to eat. The food is great, always very tasty. The music is just the right volume so I can stop here and do some work while I'm eating. The waitress, Sham, is always very friendly and so professional. Always such a pleasant experience!

I love Cafe Desta! We are also given warm friendly service, the food is spiced to perfection, and I've never had a bad dish. We quite literally tried everything last visit. I highly recommend eating here!
Wow! This was fantastic Ethiopian food. The lentil dishes were some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. Friendly waitresses. Quick service. Delish
First time trying Ethiopian food and it didn't disappoint! Love from Longview WA!
We came here from the Resort where we were working a conference for dinner. We were seated soon after arriving. We hadn't had Ethiopian food for a long time, and were very pleasantly reminded by the food why we wanted Ethiopian. It had been, literally, years since we'd been out for Ethiopian, but we knew the protocol of handwashing before the meal was served on the Injira, which was, as expected, perfectly pliable and absorbent. The only disappointment was that there was no way we could finish what we were served because it might have been nice to take it home to snack on later in the evening. But, since we were only visiting Tucson, that was not a practical option. Yes, I'd recommend people find this out-of-the-way restaurant for a delicious meal!
This is the best Ethiopian food in Tucson, not to disparage Zemam's which is also very good. The environment is welcoming as are the owners and employees. The food is consistently flavorful and delicious.
