When we heard a pastry shop was coming to our neighborhood I set out to research who what when. Turns out they had a location I had never heard of so my son and I went on an adventure to their location on the east side. We were absolutely in love with their pastries, especially one horchata crème brûlée. We told them we were excited about their second location. I even posted it in our neighborhood page. I’m excited to have them in our neighborhood, their pastries and drinks...
I got quite a few different pastry specials and they were all very yummy. Got there at 8:45am on Saturday morning and was second in line for open at 9. Right at 9am, about 10 more people were behind me. Worth it! The almond bear claws were my favorite. Best I’ve ever had! The price per was in the $7-$10 range.
The pistachio croissant (finished with a light lemon creme) pain au chocolat (filled with local Monsoon chocolate), and almond croissant (buttery, flaky, flavorful) were some of the best French pastries I’ve had in the US. I’m blown away that Tucson has this local gem, which is clearly a labor of love and dedication to the craft of French baking. I’m impressed that these owners can willingly provide such a labor-intensive craft to our little community. I have no idea why...
