I’ve now been to both locations of Cafe Français and they’re basically the same, as far as I can tell. The Alvernon location has a few outdoor tables if you feel like snarfing down an amazing pastry in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in Tucson, which I did. Our first visit but not our last. I wanted to try everything. It's all beautiful, it's all art. There is art on the walls and in the pastry cases. A lot of the art you get to eat! I tried the Caramel Carrot Cake Smasher and it was a lovely treat that I savored and didn't rush through, because I didn't want it to end. I tried a captain crunch macaron that was a light delicious flavor. The chocolate filled croissant was decadent and perfectly flaky. I also tried a peach pastry with cinnamon and sugar topping that I don't remember the name of that was to die for. This place might become a weekly stop. ❤️
