Walked in to pick up for DoorDash. The manager shared that they were very backed up due to a team member not showing up and they were in the middle of delivering a HUGE catering order.
Angel was the only one in the store and it was genuinely astonishing seeing them handle the rush alone with a smile.
Both Angel and the manager were exceptionally communicative and consistently considerate to me and other patrons even with the visible stress lol
Amazing vibe overall

Absolutely delicious and the price was on point. The dining room is a little small but was quiet and great for a quick bite!
Good food, good people working the counter.

So this was my first visit to this sandwich shop ever. I would like to give a huge shout out to Ayzis for being patient, kind, professional, and giving great information on sandwiches and how a person can make changes. Ayzis also gave some great recommendations.
I am a big sandwich snob and I can be very critical on the food. My top picks are Jersey Mikes and Firehouse, until I came here. I ordered a grilled Italian and every bite was full of flavor. Those meats just hit different and the sandwich wasn’t falling apart as you eat, which is nice. There is some heat behind this sandwich, unless that was the added chipotle ranch I had them add. The heat was not overbearing.
Now I will definitely place this spot over firehouse but I feel like it is about even with Jersey Mikes for me. I do think Capriotti’s is better priced. I will return to get another sandwich and you should go too.

We love this place. Great sandwich shop! The food has always been good and the employees are awesome and really work hard! My favorite sandwich here is the capastrami, it's a darn good sandwich!! I get it every single time. They have other delicious sandwiches, but the capastrami is where it's at! Always a positive experience here and appreciate the staff always being friendly and helpful.

This is the second time they forgot a meat on my sandwich and at 26.00 for a large sub they should not forget anything. It’s been going downhill for some time and sadly it’s not worth the money.

I wanted this to be so good. Watching a parent eat it at a highschool soccer game while I was withering away to nothing had me googling the location immediately. The gentleman taking the order entered it incorrectly three times before he finally repeated it back correctly. After a 35 minute wait with no one else in the shop except one door dash order that was ready at the same time as mine, my 3 kids and I were excited for the1.5 hour drive home eating our sandwhich. Right off the bat i knew that my sub was wrong. I had ordered something with salami, italian dressing and oil. All mine had was lettuce and turkey. I realized he had never corrected his mistake in switching mine and my sons (sizes were different). My son bit into his mini and got a mouthful of onions. He didn't eat anymore. My 15 yr old twins did love their French dips, which says a lot since one is autistic and normally does not like anything new. Im willing to give it another try next time I'm in Tucson, but $60 is a lot to spend on wrong food over employee error.

I love love love Capriotti's! I moved here from Las Vegas and I was so excited to see that Capriotti's was coming to Tucson after I moved here. My favorite sandwich is of course the Bobby! Couldn't ask for anything better!

Fantastic food! I needed to find a new cheesesteak place since my current one (S. Grillers), won't deliver a normal cheesesteak without forced wacky ingredients like avocado. I decided to give this place a try and I'm very glad I did. The bread is a spitting image of Amoroso (only bread allowed to make a true Philly), the steak is chopped up correctly, and the hot peppers are mixed in with the meat like they're supposed to. Not just dumped on the top, like you're a rabbit or something. All in all, this place has fantastic cheesesteaks that are worthy of being up there with true Philly legends like Jim's on South Street, John's Roast Pork, and Dalessandro's. Best cheesesteaks in the state, I will be coming back. Go Birds!
