Very tasty shwarma. A bit pricey for what you get. Fresh salad and cooked vegetables come on the side.

Caravan has been a staple for work lunches or takeout dinners for many years. I always forget to get a picture of the food because we eat it so fast 🤦🏼‍♀️

I often get take out when I'm working in the neighborhood or sometimes stay and eat inside or on the patio. All the employees are so kind and the food is my favorite middle eastern fare in town.

It's simple, clean food with tons of great spices and sauces. I most often get the chicken shawarma plate because their rice is phenomenal and you get a little of everything! But when we want to splurge, my partner and I will get the lamb shank which is perfect every time. Delicately spiced and fall off the bone tender. I could go on and on .

Main point is, Caravan is a gem of a local hole in the wall that delivers great food every time and you won't be able to go just once.

Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free and used to get their wraps but now I just get the plate version of everything. It's all good and their rice is super bomb so I don't even miss the bread.

Everything is good! This is my new favorite place. I've tried most of the menu and I've yet to be disappointed. The baba ganoush with pita bread is heavenly, I could eat it everyday.

Vegetarian options: The falafel, baba ganoush, and hummus plate. With a side of pita.

This place is quite simple, yet it offers some of the best Mediterranean food in town, especially with the added convenience of being next to the Caravan Market. The service is excellent, and the quality of the products is impressive. I must say, the falafel and grape leaves here are the best I've had since I moved to the USA 23 years ago! PS: amazing Turkish Coffee

Love coming here, all of the brothers are very friendly. Their father is a great and generous man, always friendly. I'm sorry to hear about his recent health issues but I've heard he is doing better. Keeping him and his sons in my prayers. God bless you guys.

Have tried this neighborhood grill, take out, 3 times over the last several months. All 3 3xperiences were disappointing specifically due to the almost non existent customer service. It has changed ownership several times since opening and no one working there seems to care about the customer. Two nights ago (Sat night) we called to place a take out order. The phone range at least 20 times; finally someone picked up the phone but didn't speak. They left the phone off the hook so it remained busy when we tried calling back. Drove over to place an order, relayed our issue with ordering...phone was still off the hook and person at the register could not have cared less about our experience. We should have left and gone down the street to the new and well reviewed new Greek Restaurant on the corner of Tucson Blvd and Speedway. We will not ever go back here. This last experience was much like our first two. Very disappointing especially for a $14 gyro which wasn't on Pita but a flat wrap. They should ask what type of bread a customer wants.

Caravan is my all-time favorite restaurant in Tucson and I can't believe I'm just getting around to writing a review. Dean, the owner, is the nicest guy and he's often working in house with his family. This is the best spot for a casual lunch or dinner! I've eaten here easily 40-50 times over my 6 years of living in the Tucson area and it is excellent every time. Their appetizer sampler is a favorite, as well as the chicken shawarma wrap, and they make fantastic soups! You can occasionally luck out and get their "pizzas" which are mostly similar to a pide or khachapuri; they make one with falafel, cheese, and tomatoes that is outstanding! (I believe they are only available for lunch on weekdays.) Their market next door is also awesome, we usually order our food and then go over there for bottled drinks to have with our meal. They have a unique selection of international products, as well as freshly made breads and good quality produce, that we love to take home.

The food is delicious. Although I was clearly not the only non Muslim the male cashier was clearly uncomfortable with me paying. I felt his attitude. That has to change. I am not dirty. I will return for the excellent food. I will also speak up if the attitude appears again.

My new favorite Mediterranean Grill in town. Well spiced Flavors reminiscent of the best vendors on the streets of Istanbul or the peaceful harbors of Greece. Excellent plate presentation and portion size, meticulous eye for detail. Vegetarian dishes competitively priced. My favorite so far is the appetizer platter. My thanks

Parking: There's a drive thru that's awesome

This was easily one of the best chicken platters I’ve had in Phoenix. I loved how the platter was thoughtfully arranged with sections for salad, vegetable soup, basmati rice, garlic sauce, vinaigrette, and perfectly cooked meat. The meal was refreshing, with generous portions that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely a must-visit spot for a delicious middle Eastern meal in Tuscan.
