Great little Mexican grocery store, meat market & restaurant. Very good beef prices, marinated or not. Has awesome selection of real tortillas, some fresh produce (peppers, onions, avocados, etc), house made salsas, beans, rice, etc. Dried & canned goods, lots of candy & cold drinks, most of it from Mexico. Many uniquely Mexican ingredients & snacks. The restaurant offers most of what you'd find at a typical burrito place, plus soups & family pack specials.I go there mainly for tortillas, but aways find more when I'm there. They speak English & Spanish and are always super nice & helpful. Prices are fair for the groceries for sure. Candy/snacks/drinks are a little pricey but is all authentic.Great place, highly recommend.

Great for take out, we always get breakfast burritos here. Cool little market, limited seating. Has outdoor covered seating as well.Nice people, and a nice salsa bar as well!

Vegetarian options: Breakfast burritos can be vegetarian

HORRIBLE customer service at the front register! No greeting when you walk in, no "thank you" when you walk out. The short "girl" with the short black hair, has no manners, no sense of politeness, no CUSTOMER SERVICE and absolutely rude! Last time I set foot in this place!

This carniceria is probably one of the worst I ever been, I order a torta of carnitas the carnitas were hard and old , I also bought a half of pound of chicharron and it was the worst I ever had they were old & hard and cold I never knew chicharrones can taste so bad ,I try buying a couple of tortillas and they said I could only buy a dozen for $3.50, I just want the public to know what I experience it might be different for other people, dine at your own risk

Little dining area as you walk in passed the register, very clean, and more importantly the staff is very attentive and very efficient. The in-house prepared chicken fajitas are very good, n are highly recommended by me and they aren't as pricey as they are elsewhere. I will definitely be using this location again in my future endeavours!!

Had the 5 taco special. Was delicious. Only cost $9.29 on Tuesdays. Hass tacos with chicken or carne are excellent. Meat melted in cheese and hatch Chiles.

If I was able to rate this a negative start I would. Tacos are disgusting. Full of hard pieces of fat. Meat taste old, tortillas are stale, presentation and customer service is horrible. Les deberia de dar verguenza en llamarse una taqueria

This is as great a "hole in the wall" or Dive Mexican Restaurant as you'd hope to find!If I visited Tucson again I would DEFINITELY eat here again. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and my stomach didn't hurt after eating it ?. They don't make the tortillas there BUT they're pretty good. I ate the Carne asada and had ZERO complaints. This place won't break your pocket and it isn't far from the local military base. All in all they earned my respect (and hopefully repeat business)TRY IT! Mi gusta Carniceria Los Varqueros!

First time visiting Carniceria Los Vaqueros. Tried the chorizo and marinated carne asada - both were excellent! Nice variety of foods for sale in the market. Friendly staff.

They have a counter in the back of the store that sells meat packs lots of variety of marinated and non marinated meats. Meundo for the weekends and Carne Asada packs that feed 3 to 5 people. Very nice people.

They don't even deserve a star at all!!! My husband bought a gallon in a half of menudo not only was it disgusting it had hait in it throughout the containers. This menudo was cloudy, the tripe was soggy and cut all sort of big and little, had no actual salt and tasted spoiled. Never again would I purchase from here again. Add insult to injury this menudo was for a service of which Noone would or could eat.

This place used to have the BEST menudo that was Available daily. I stopped in Tuesday to get a large container for hubby and I,the girl at the front was nice and helpful but the menudo was NASTY. Way wayyyyy too much lard. When the soup would be sitting after each bite you could see the layer on top,it ended up making both of us vomit. I'm pretty bummed as we eat their menudo regularly and usually get some for my Nana too when we stop in from vsil. Unfortunately we will NOT be back. I had to dump the rest and the amount of lard left in my sink was nasty. Such a waste of $15. ?
