Las Originales Carnitas El Michoacano

The staff was very friendly and kind. They have somewhat variety of food cosidering it's a carnitas place but have other plates too. The place was ok, and it's kinda self serve, they call your name and you go grab your food. The carnitas were good but since my dad is from Michoacán his are better. Somehow I thought the tortillas were hand made but weren’t and the chili oil salsa that they had was not the traditional.

They are so awesome here! I will always go back! Thank you to the beautiful family owners that are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is so good. We tried a variety of their tacos. Thank you. I recommend their carne asada here!! Also their aguas frescas are delicious. My daughter and I tried the mango and horchata

Everything is great, I like la yoga too but I think this place beats them, only reason I dont give 5 stars is because everytime I go and ask for extra tortillas the lady at the register always gives me attitude for some reason. Like im paying for them im not asking for free tortillas, I have four kids so yea I need the extra tortillas, if it wasnt for the attitude I'd give 5 stars, other than that this place is really good

Unfortunately I did not get to try them since they were closed. Although it was within their hours of operations, and listed as open on Google. They could have at least posted a sign a sign outside their door with a brief explanation as to why they were closed. At least I no longer have to burden myself by driving out of my way to try them because I will only continue go to Carnitas La Yoca. They are phenomenal and have great prices.

The BEST carnitas I have EVER had!
Everything was exceptional. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I brought a friend in who was visiting from out of town and he was blown away! I’m super proud that I could show him some of Tucson’s best.

The chicharrones and carnitas are so tasty! Carnitas have a little crisp to them and the salsa verde is super good. My new go to!

Best carnitas I've had in years. The Carnitas had the perfect crunch and not over seasoned!! You can definitely tell they take pride in letting the food speak for itself
